Chrono Trigger

So...chrono trigger along with zelda OOT/MM/ALTTP/WW/SS/TMC (its a tie!)
have always been some of my favorite games ever! And please, if haven't played this yet.....Go Die. Just kidding, but I suggest you get a copy for you SNES or NDS. Its worth it. Anyone else have feelings about this wonderful game? Uh......Disscuss.

I love Chrono Trigger! I could never beat Slash, Flea and Ozzie (with Ayla's Charm) because they attack, like three times EACH in one turn.

I played this last summer over the Wii's VC and loved it to death. I'm really looking forward to replaying it this summer. It has an awesome soundtrack, awesome story, awesome locations, awesome characters, awesome everything.

I could marry lucca. Perfect female! The music......seduced me. I purposly lost several times to go to a previous save, and hear the music all over again.

Isn't she, though? Her theme song is absolutely awesome, too. I was pretty disappointed to find out that there isn't a ChronoxLucca ending :<

Man, replaying this game is going to be the highlight of my summer, haha.

I hadn't played Chrono Trigger before the DS port, but even 13 years after its original release the magic was still very much intact. It really is a wonderful game, the characters are great, the music is absolutely amazing and the story keeps you hooked throughout. It's short for an RPG, but it does have a dozen different endings (plus minor variations in the major endings depending on some of the choices you made earlier in the game) and it's one of those games where the New Game + feature actually does serve an important purpose.

So yeah, it's definitely a masterpiece and one of those games everyone should at least try out (and considering how many platforms it's now available on, there really is no excuse not to ).

Absolutely amazing game. one of my favorites. Like I've said before though, it's much too easy.

I recently started playing this game. I heard it was good but I was concerned that was just hype. Fortunately it turns out that it really is awesome. Go figure.

Oh, okay.

Anyhow, I still haven't played Chrono Trigger because I am so lazy and haven't gotten a copy on the DS, nor do I own a SNES, because of how expensive the SNES is, or how hard it is to find one that isn't yellow.

You could just buy it on the Wii shop.

Or emulation and roms. Thing is, You need ownership of the game first if you want to be legal. I personally say screw that, because it is NOT ILLEGAL until acta is passed.....but, if you ALL WANT TO BE UPTIGHT AND GOOD CITIZENS, AND WISH TO OWN THE GAME....lets say, I give all of you my copy of the game. That way, now that I have "given" it be legal terms, go he a happy camper and get a emulator and rom.

I rather enjoyed that. I love time travel, I love JRPGs, and when it was on the DS I had to snatch up a copy. Glad I did, too, I love Newgame+. Makes subsequent playthroughs for the story much simpler.

No, I do not do ROMs unless I am playing hacked games. That is my number 1 policy. I feel kind of guilty using ROMs no matter how old the game is. It is also pretty awesome to get a physical copy of a game if I can get access to it. Depends on how easy it is to get access to it, though.

I guess that's one way to do it.

Played it eons ago, a core favourate.

My only problem with this game is that I have started a new game at least 10 times, but something always happens and I lose my saved file before I can get too far into it. That or some other problem, like when I played the DS version and I got to a point where they basically told me "Press L+R+A to get further into the game". The problem? Both shoulder buttons on my DS are broken, so I was completely stuck with no way to continue.

It's a curse, I tell you!
