...why no one play Magic?

Pinkie is sad.

I have a Magic deck but I don't play anymore.

In the end, all any of us can say is "THIS IS YU-GI-OH TOWN MUTHERLUVER!"
I have a burn deck .
Illegal as murder.

So, what are your favorite monsters (or cards)?

I always liked Harpie's Pet Dragon, I always thought it was an awesome design and concept.



It's too bad Harpies-- or winged beasts for that matter got no real support with synchros or XYZs (except for Blackwings and Gusto).

Right now though, I gotta say my favorite archetype are the Agents. They all look awesome, have a great playstyle, and are just really unique.



it's a shame though, that Earth got limited on the latest banlist. I'm really afraid to use my deck now...
That's really gonna take the deck down a notch as well as take away a lot of it's speed. As long as Venus and Mater Hyperion stay unscathed though I guess Agent decks will work, albeit much worse without a fantastic tuner and reliable way to search out Hyperion.

And yeah, Wind Fish, I had a feeling that deck would do the trick, haha. The Skull Servant deck just has too much of a set-up and the fact I could never get Gravity Bind up really put me at a disadvantage.

Lol, the Harpies is a dead archetype.

My favorite type has always been Warriors. My current(incomplete) deck is a Warrior Tool Box Deck, mainly with cards like Giant Rat, Mystic Tomato, Marauding Captain, etc. Also have a few early Junk archetype monsters in there as well.

I had originally planned to make a Warrior ToolBox with a lot of Junk archetype monsters then ultimately leading to the Synchro summoning of Stardust Dragon and then Majestic Star Dragon and Shooting Star Dragon.

I know, very Yusei Fudo~

But now, with these Xyz Monsters, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do, I better think of something quick, I already missed 3 booster packs~

Yeah, I tried making a Harpie deck, but ended up just sticking it full of Gusto and Mist Valley monsters.

Ironically, with the exception of Mist Valley Falcon, they all just ended up being clutter. So I guess the deck is better off clearing the field of magic and trap cards with Harpie's Hunting Ground, and then attacking directly with Sonic Shooter.

And even then, needless to say, it's pretty bad.

Are those shooting star dragon evolutions even worth it? The original is awesome, and works even today when the game is dominated by XYZs. Cards like Assault Mode and Majestic Dragon just seem like they'd just be dead draws more often than not.

I can't really say since I don't really duel (as much as I want to), but from what I've seen Shooting Star Dragon could probably kick-ass.

I played an online duel once using Dueling Network, but I disliked the fact that nothing's automated (the GBA and DS games spoiled me). You still have to manipulate life points manually, as well as draw and a bunch of other things I'd rather not do myself.

My deck in the DS and Dueling Network were cheap as ♥♥♥♥, and focused on summoning as much high-leveled/high-attack monsters as I possibly could during one turn even from the graveyard and some from out of play; sometimes making sure I'd always have one damaging monster on the field. Magic cards helped a lot, and traps backed me up if somehow I was unable to initiate a strategy properly.

I may or may not be addicted now, this just brings back such nostalgia.

What about Bakugan? That was the hit thing when I was in 4th and 5th grade. I became so badass at the game that I started sugesting that we play for keeps; I had a friend with the most badass Bakugan, and I wanted it really badly. I got this card called "Dire Reaper", and basically it multiplies your G's by how many cards had been played throughout the whole game, so if you beat down two of his Bakugan and pull the card on his last one (which is usually the strongest) you just absolutely drop the nuke on the battlefield. I lost track of the anime and games, but I still play with the classic Drago and I really love my Dual Diablos.

Any Bakugan players here? I've just been seeing Yugi-oh. xD

I remember I once found a Dark Magician card on the street on my block. I wonder if I still have that card.

I tried bakugan, but They were too expensive with all my other hobbies. Plus i was HORRIBLE at landing them where i wanted. XD I did have an Appolonir? (sp?) it was a rare one i think.

I play competitively in major tourneys around the USA.

Uhm, the last major one I went to was YCS Columbus back in October. I ran a VayuSworn deck hat did really well. I just missed the cut to day two. Uhm I topped at a regional in Detroit not too far back so I'm qualified for Naionals this year, so I'm pretty pumped.

I was torn for a while on what to run. With the new banlist out it seemed like it would be tough to play anything other than inzektors, wind ups, or dino rabbits, but I try to stay semi budget, cause I don't have hundreds to throw at the game.

My first deck is my Gemini Hero Deck. I'm Teching bubbleman's in for some easy Xyz summoning capabilities.



And then I have my "ol' faithful" in my samurai deck. It comes out at you so fast and it's hard to counter, especially if I get to go first.



But the last two weeks I've won my local tournament using a janky 50 dollar Dark World deck. It seriously wrecks the meta in so many ways. I've become confident enough that this deck can help me make day two at YCS Philadelphia, maybe even top.

Yeah, each one was around 5 dollars. XD

I never played the game where you had to land them in a specific spot, I just laid a bunch of cards down and rolled it wherever my terrible accuracy took me. I never even bothered to knock out my friend's Bakugan. That ruins the fun of kicking their butt.

Anyway, as for my favorite cards:
I LOVE X-SABERS!!!

Seriously, I just love them. I just wish they had a Lvl 8 synchro. On the other hand, I don't have space for anything else in the extra deck. So no Xyz for me.

Also, I like Red nova dragon and Gorz's looks. Just freakin' epic.

Also, I hate the legendary six samurais. They are just way too fast. Only thing worse than them were the frogs a few years ago. God, I hated them...

Swarming has been a part of the game. Thing is: the samurais do it in a broken way. I can accept their synchro, but not how easy it is for them to summon him.

The first time I faced off against them I got seriously pissed. I had to challenge the guy like 5 times before beating him, and I won just by luck. My X-sabers cried themselves to sleep that night...

X sabers have their own xyz monster, you should check him out Zero.

What exactly do you mean by illegal? If you mean forbidden, you can still use those cards online.
