Official Metriod prime hunters first hunt/Super mario 64 ds thread

They are the first games I got. But Metriod prime hunters first hunt is only a demo, and Super mario 64 ds was in a bundle.

How is Mario 64 DS? Is it good?

I beat the first level, and so far it is good. Also the graphics are amazing.

Now correct me if I am wrong, but in MArio 64 weren't the rolling boulders actually 3D? In Mario 64 DS they clearly aren't and it annoyed me, considering most everything else looks very good. Surfaces aren't the best, as stated by Dryth, though I noticed it more in Mario than in Metroid. I have played Mario more though, and honestly am more critacal of the game considering that it is a game I already know and love.

Metroid is very fun to play, hopefully it is just the begining of the possibilities for FPSs on the DS.

Anyway... Like the chat goers said, Prime Hunters needs a little work. The graphics on the thing are insane, but I will admit, it was too dark to see the other Samus...meh

Again... I say that this isn't true, it was at the kiosk that I played it at until I TILTED the console (which was irritating so I ended up having to bend down which sucks since I'm 6'3" and the freakin thing was like 4 feet off the ground >_0) But after looking directly at the screen I was like, "wow, that's much much better" so I say try and open the DS screen all the way and see if that helps. If it doesn't... I may be retarded XD

The only thing hat weirded me about hunters was the way the aiming worked. Once I got past that, I was having fun.

If there isn't a four swords for the DS I will shoot someone. The system s in all ways ideal for four swords.

Nintendo already said that there WAS going to be a 4 swords and yes I agree with you about this system being best with it, cause you could use the top screen as the main over world and the bottom as the screen to see when you went underground or in a room it'd be a lot like the gamecube version if they did that... also I can't wait to play minish cap on my DS, sure nothing special with the touch screen, but still, I can finally play my GBA games backlit!!! (I never bought a SP and good thing too, that thing fits my hands HORRIBLY.)

The only thing i found strange about plaing Hunters was that if you come off of Echos and expect lock on, it just isn't there. But I will say the Hunters cntrol scheme works very well when I stop trying to lock on.

Mario, multiplayer, disapointing. I hope that more level can be unlocked and more options for the games too, 4 levels isn't cutting it. The gameplay is good though so it's not a problem that ruins anything.
