Never played a Final fantasy for longer then 2 hours, and I have no interest in doing so.

I dislike turn-based games slightly because of the way you can take a turn and wait a year then take another turn. Which leads me too say real-time fighting is the greatest way to game

I'd at least like to hear more about it. Neither the Wii U or rumors of the next Xbox sound that appealing anyway, really.

Games don't need a story to be good. Game companies should stop trying to make their games focus on a single one-track plotline and instead should focus on allowing the player to write his or her own story within the game.

Even if you do that, you're still getting a story though.

Depends on the game, really. If it is a strategy game, then yes, it will take a long time, however if it is turn based like, let's say, Pokemon or Legend of Dragoon, it won't take terribly long for it to be your turn again.

I don't mind turn based battles, hell, that's how I got started and into RPG's

Speaking of RPG's, am I the only one who enjoyed The Last Remnant?

I don't want devs to have a brand new shiny engine and the game rebuilt from the ground up every sequel. I would love if Eidos just made a sequel to Human Revolution with the exact same engine, technology and graphics and just focused on a new story and polishing out the gameplay flaws from the previous game and expanding on its strengths. I don't even have a problem with the CoD sequels they keep pushing out (though I wouldn't pay €70 for them).

I did try the PC demo, but could not for the life of me wrap my head around the system.

I like all kinds of JRPGs, turn-based, whatever. Don't care. They always seem more interesting than WRPGs anyway, even if their plots are out there. I'd rather play an out there plot than a semi-realistic one.

What on earth makes you say that?

I prefer the retro, lazy-boy of consoles: The SNES, GameCube etc, over interactive ones like the Wii. The experience doesn't get much better than being able to play cocooned in the duvet.
