There is absolutely everything wrong with the weapon packs from ME2. Players should not be locked out of content that's already on the disc (that they paid full price for) just because they didn't preorder it at GameStop.

As long as it doesn't really affect the story, I don't mind. It's not like halfway through the game says "sorry, you bought from K-Mart? No more game for you!". It sucks to know there's content on the disc that's not accessible without paying more, but.. I don't think it's a huge deal.

I just deal with it.

Man, I love how during the whole game you're thinking these Protheans were the most advanced civilization imaginable, probably demi-gods, creating all this incredible technology that conquered the vast distances of space and time....

Then finding out that no, it was really the Reapers that created all this on purpose just to corner trap your species long before you even existed...

I remember feeling like wow, these Reapers are probably the most astonishingly advanced, unstoppable species ever. It took like a huge concentration of warships - entire fleets - to conquer a single Reaper. And their numbers will darken the skies of every. world. I was like, wow there's nothing we can possibly do.

I hope ME3 brings back that feel.

I didn't get any DLC's for ME2, I'm wondering if I should get the Shadow Broker and... that one where he blows up lots of planets.
Any input on these two? Or any others really.

Shadow Broker is the best DLC. Get it....

And yes, the supposed DLC character IS important to the story, so if they do pull this crap, I am going to be very upset.

I think... when I play the game, I want to lose. Like, I'll just let the Reapers blow everything to ♥♥♥♥.

There better be an option for that.

Supposedly you can get a bad ending, and there can be a few pyrrhic victories as well.

Nobody is complaining about Day 1 on disk DLC, because there is no Day 1 on disk DLC for Mass Effect 3.

Wrex will not appear if he was killed. As a result of his death, his clan will fall under control of his brother, Urdnot Wreav. Wrex, being someone who wishes to save his people, will open up communications with other clans and enter into agreements. His brother will wage war like a normal krogan, slaughtering his enemies, and will be generally less trusting of Shepard.

I think I'll just buy ME1 Genesis instead of playing the whole ME1.

How do you know this for a fact? I admit I'm not certain that it's on-disc DLC, but considering EA's past trends with BioWare games (see ME2 and DA2), I don't see why they'd do anything different with this title.

You don't have to pay an extra cent to get the aforementioned content. You just have to either financially support a rotten company (♥♥♥♥ing gamestop) or download spyware (origin).
