Resident Evil Revelations

Control scheme A was mostly good for me except for the strafing. B is very similar to A but is a little better IMO.

Going to avoid the demo so when I get the real game I'll be more... surprised.

I think it is only the very beginning of the first level... but to each his own. I recommend playing it, personally, so you won't start the actual game feeling like a noob. Its a good way to practice up and get used to different control schemes.

I've never bothered to strafe in a Resident Evil game, so I don't really care.
I like that I can turn around with just the circle pad.

I tried out the demo today and quite liked it. The controls worked pretty well, the atmosphere was great and the game certainly looked awesome in glorious 3D!

That looks really awkward.

It's been described as surprisingly comfortable.

DS's are uncomfortable for me because they're so small and thin. I've always preferred my PSP Phat for that reason. Or even my Sega Game gear.
There's more to hold. I had a case that kind of made my SP look similarly strange, but it made it a treat to hold. I wish I could actually find one for my 3DS.

Though, to get back on topic, I find, with everything i've played, the pad is unnecisary.
Especially for RE.

Dude, and with the 3D cranked to Very High? Soooo good.

Has anyone beaten HELL mode yet? The first time through the zombie in the closet killed me! XD

I just beat it earlier tonight though. Rewarding experience. Not literally, but, made me feel good.

For my first 10 or so tries, I couldn't even beat the first room in Hell mode. Now I can beat it without any problems. I usually end it with several herbs and tons of ammo left, but I guess that's what happens when you play the same short segment over and over until you memorize it.

I have no intention of playing this game on Hell unless there're some awesome unlockables......or if the game is easy like RE4.

Haha, well, once you get the hang of the regular mode it gets a little boring, HELL mode is basically the same but with extra zombies (ooze) You can use an automatic machine gunnnnnnn Incentive enough? The new weapon is sweet, and the game is more fun on HELL mode. But yeah, playing through the same thing over and over and memorizing it was probably the only way I managed to beat it. I think I beat HELL mode on my 4th try though. In case no one wants to know what happens -> I was really surprised when I reached the elevators and still had a hand grenade to take out the majority of those enemies. I figured I was a goner, but I managed to pull through. Ammo was scarce this time through
