Here's where we can talk about Club Nintendo!


I love to get rewards! I've gotten a few things so far:

1. A Mario pin.
2. Mario History screensaver.
3. Ultra Hand Grill Off for Wii. (Pretty fun)
4. Super Mario Kart for Wii VC.


I'm now a Gold member. Yay!

So... I'm saving up for whenever they put up a VC game for the 3DS that I'd like to play. So far there's Xevious 3D (I've played the original and think it's fun) and Mario vs Donkey Kong: Minis March again! The latter has my interest, but I never played the first Mario vs Donkey Kong. Would I be missing out on anything?

Also, there's still plenty of surveys for me to do! I love the ten coin reward for those!

I'm secretly hoping the Nintendo Ambassador games will find their way over to Club Nintendo. I'd totally get Minish Cap, Mario Kart, Yoshi's Island, and Metroid Fusion!

Oh, so I found out that yes, once I spend my coins, they are gone regardless if I'm in elite mode or not. I saw some videos for Mario vs Donkey Kong: Minis March Again and I'm extremely interested. It costs 150 coins and I have 290 (after doing all the surveys available to me). What's more is that the deal is only available until January 10.

The pressure!

If the point system remains the same, I could buy this, do the survey a week from now, and be able to get another game when they bring up new ones after the tenth. But what if they have two good ones I really want? DAMN YOU NINTENDO FOR NOT SAYING WHAT'S GOING UP AHEAD OF TIME! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

I remember a while ago I got a sweet mario hat for stealing codes from the game cases in family video.

You guys get so much more stuff to choose from than we do. :[

So far I got a pencil case and the Skyward sword poster set.
Still awaiting the latter to arrive at my house.

all I have got so far is the 3 ss posters. I haven't been a member a long time.

I just discovered this Club Nintendo maybe 3 weeks back. I scrounged around my house for all Nintendo products to get those PIN codes. Managed to find enough to buy me the 25th Anniversary Legend of Zelda Poster Set.

lol i did the same thing, I had many that were still left in the cover of the games.

I have about 5000 stars on my balance, but still haven't bought a single thing from the Club Nintendo website. I was tempted by the three Zelda posters, but I don't really have space on my walls.

I'm hoping that we'll get the gold nunchuk eventually...but knowing Nintendo Australia, that'll probably never happen. We usually have fewer than ten items at a time in our catalogue, and they tend to be things like face towels, folders and bookmarks. :/

You mean the gold (or platinum) member yearly prize? You can still spend your points and get it. Gold status depends on how many points you earned in the calendar year, not how many you have at any given moment.

I was a Platinum member this most recent year because I just discovered Club Nintendo and put in all my stuff I had from the past few years. With that and getting a Wii last Christmas it was no contest. This year I'm not sure I'll even get Gold, but meh. I got the Mario pin set, which is AMAZING. I'm just sad there is no regular Luigi pin, and the Fire Luigi is on a yellow background which makes him hard to see. :[ I am a Luigi fan.

Other than that I can never decide what to spend my coins on. I've only gotten the Mario 3-poster set, which is really good. There are always things which I think look nice, like the handheld trading cards, but I don't get them because they're kind of useless and I'd rather save my coins for something I'll really like and can use. I'm considering getting the history of Zelda posters or the Hanafuda cards next, not really sure.

Japan has even more stuff than NA for Club Nintendo, and they've got some really neat things I'd love to see make it to all the regions.

A couple years ago my brother and I signed up for one account (to pool our "coins"), so we registered all the frigging DS and Wii games we had at the time that we could. That easily boosted us to platinum status, where we got to choose from a Mario hat or a Punch-Out download fight against Doc Louis as a prize (we picked Doc Louis since it's digital and we can find a Mario hat later if we really want one). Didn't get any status the year after, then this year we got gold and just got the desk calendar. We're already at platinum status for the next prize (maybe from our 3DS stuff).

For things we've gotten with the coins, we got one of those reversible bags, and the reproduction Game and Watch Ball (which is a damn cool reward, I think). I also got the Ocarina 3D soundtrack for registering that game.

We're thinking about the Skyward Sword/anniversary Zelda posters next, although I really love the blue Mario poster (with the characters drawn in the older-style Mario artwork, even including Wario and Waluigi).

I got 3 Mario posters, a Mario pin set, Super Mario Kart, and I ordered the Skyward Sword posters, so they'll be in the mailbox in a few days. :3

I was Platinum last year, so I got the Mario pin set. I'm already Gold for this year, so I'm on my way!

I'm hoping to pick up a few additional game downloads if anything I like pops up in the next few months. I'm also hoping the 3D Classics Kid Icarus incentive program comes to the states, since I love that game and think the graphical overhaul looks sweet.

Lol, I got my little calendar in the mail a couple of weeks ago for being gold or platinum status (can't remember which one) - it is pretty cute! I have a ton of points that I need to spend, but can't ever decide on what to get.

I haven't joined yet, but I found tons of codes to register (I'm pretty sure I'll have at least 5oo coins) and i plan on getting the Zelda 25th Anniversary poster set.

I've got two old accounts plus a new one. On the old ones, I got Platinum for one account, and Gold for the other one year. I got a Calendar and the Mario hat. On the new account, I have 290 coins, and I'll probably end up getting Platinum with all these games I plan to buy.

I really want The Animal Crossing Fireworks fan, but I also want to save up to get the Hanafuda Cards, or Game & Watch: Ball. What do you guys recommend?
