[Multi] Silent Hill Downpour

Just over a month away now!
I'm starting to get on the hype train for this game, since it seems like the HD Collection is delayed. For a long time.

This is the latest trailer for the game.


It looks like it's going to be plenty creepy, which is nice. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

Im hyped, Long time Silent Hill player since SH1, Looks pretty good and atmospheric rather then another generic runandgun.

Couldn't they have chosen a better song?

A lot of people are really upset over that song.
I don't like Korn, but I don't mind the song.

Not a fan of the song... Though something vaguely similar has been used before. I liked that song however. So it's not like other bands haven't provided music for Silent Hill, Rain of Brass Petals Three Voices Edit was a cover of one of Akira's songs that they put on the soundtrack. Plus the guy who composed the music for Dexter is doing the rest of the music, and his stuff is vaguely similar at times in my opinion. To be frank, Akira Yamaoka's music kind of lost its edge over time.

That aside, it's not like they'll be pumping it out through the entire game, so I'm fine to wait and see what other people think of the game after its release.

I've only played the first four games plus Shattered Memories. I overhyped The Room for myself and greatly disliked it, whilst I was pleasantly surprised by SM. Best just not to get my hopes up I guess.

I'm more excited about the HD collection, shame about the delay.

I played 3, then went to 4. So obviously I was really, really dissipointed.
Then I went SM, and thought it was great because my expectations were so low.

I'm trying to expect little out of this, so I don't get let down so much again.

Though, you make a great point. The music in Dexter is well composed. The guy seriously knows his stuff, so I think a lot of people are really worried about nothing.

Big fan of Silent Hill 2 and 3, hoping this will be a great game.
Looks very cinematic but in a good way, and that Mask guy looks pretty kewl, looks like a new Pyramid Head
