Din City, Cilly, and the RoT should be preserved completely.

Din City and Cilly both have important cultural and historic value. RoT has important cultural value.

Seems like quite a while ago that Toho and I sailed across the ocean in a brand new world to build a duo of cliffside fortresses. I never finished mine. His is now Castle Toho.

Spawn seemed so much less crowded then. I made that little tree farm by the spawn building. Is it still there?



Also, last night I had a dream about Endermen.
Specifically, a midget Endermen who was singing in Glados' voice and attacking me in my house. When I killed it it dropped redstone.
No idea what that was about.

It seems like just a few weeks ago that I made my little mushroom house in Port.

I remember when Treetown was the only established settlement in the world. Does that make me old? =3

Interesting dream...and hilarious at the same time. xD

I had one recently where I woke up and realized I was one of the Testificates...but the rest of it was uninteresting though (mainly because I can't quite remember what happened after that). Once you start dreaming about Minecraft stuff you realize you play too much of it.

Hah, I was one of the founders of Treetown, with Stryder. Good times!

I miss the old days. Everything was simpler, no survival bull♥♥♥♥, no >100 posts noobs infesting the thread and server.

I wish I was there.

This is around 48 hours now that Toho's server is unplayably laggy for me.

I understand that there were similar memory leaks and resource spikes way back in 1.3 that would make certain servers unplayable for just a few.

Some people were whining and ragequitting when minecraft dropped down to 20 fps on a decent machine, whereas I would love to see 1 frame every 10 seconds! So my problem is quite a bit worse than that.

Scott, could you try and update the something-or-other on the server so that the code isn't stale and see if that resolves the issue? And if you know of any other fixes, that would be wonderful as well.

I know I'm not the only one who's had these issues, para's problem sounds similar.
