[PC] |OT| Minecraft Thread V: Now with Buggy 1.9's!

I think there's something wrong with the world maps. The persons are displaying, but whenever I try to change world or change the layout, it won't react. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Yeah, I've noticed that. I'm going to update the server and its plugins next time I check the server and nobody's online at the time. One of the plugins with an update is that one, so issues with the google maps interface will be fixed (because that interface is replaced with a differeint one).

The "standard" time for updating things, around midnight, appears to be a popular time of day...so it'll likely be some morning, or I'll just boot people when there are only a few.

How long does an update take? On my server it took a matter of seconds to replace the files, but that was without bukkit...

I'm sure anyone would happily be booted if it meant fixing the problems there are.

It would take about 5 minutes, because I have to wget all the appropriate jar files & delete a few.

I have a few bash scripts that do most of it for me, but some of them annoyingly change their file names every time.

Well I can tell you the map plug-in is unupdated.
mR's has a different look than yours.

It's come to my attention that someone keeps trolling Bolero of Fire with the chat function. Don't know who or why, but sheesh.

What are they saying? If it's funny, it might be me.

But still noone had replied >.< Our hopes is that one day we can get it onto the server but I know it takes trust to get whitelisted so Thats what I'm trying to build up ^_^ If you want to join pleeeease do! Funny you mention that, earlier today there was an obvious troll going at it with Nuke. Nuke made a remark that his inventory was full and the guy was like "full of dildos?"

If any of you guys see someone doing it again write down the IP and maybe Toho can do something about it. I don't mean to seem so "moddy", but it probably came across like that didn't it? I'm just looking out for peoples' best interest here.

The IP addresses are a hell of a lot less anonymous than usernames. You can see where people live with those things...very specifically.


Well, I updated my server to the latest Bukkit, Runecraft, MultiVerse, and such. A few new niceties. The map is fancier. There is a nether for the New World. Uh...other stuff. Yeah.

In making sure it worked, I added a nether portal to the mining complex for that Port place. Originally, it lead to the most laughably terrible nether start point you could ever conceive (I will let you all guess)...so I decided to regenerate the Nether, and now it's much more acceptable of a location.

im guessing.... under lava?

Not under lava, no. I think the system checks for that sort of thing.

Have you seen the lava sea in the Old World's nether? It's a LOT of lava. Well...there was one of those where the portal appeared. But the game put the portal about 70 blocks above the lava sea, and there was nothing around except for ghasts. There was an island in the sea, but it would have taken a LOT of blocks to get there.

Hurray! I've really been looking forward to this, because there is a project I am wanting to do that requires nether material. Don't ask what tho, it's a surprise.

don't use the /spawn command in the Nether.

Every single time you use /spawn in the Nether a fairy dies.

But no really, NEVER do that. It will take you forever to get out. I mean forever!
