I may finally get into this game now, I was ): when I saw it was just this week because I don't have time but NOW I HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLSLDDL

I have it my steam id is Rajin12 if you wanna add me. I'm still tryign to figure out what's going on and find a decent server to play on. So far sniper is my favorite, the only way I can do well is camp. lol

Play as scout or medic.

You can play other classes later, but you'll never get good unless you play scout or medic first.

A tomislav in the hands of a professional heavy is hell for a spy ;_; can never get a backstab without uncloaking miles away.

I'll just be in the fridge as a head, smoking and waiting for the medic to kill me then...

Why is that? (coming from someone who, for the hour he's played it, was a heavy and a sniper)

Spy is the hardest class to get the hang of but totally lulzy once you do.

Also just pick a class to play each day and then spend all/most of your day as that class. It's what I did in the beginning.

For the three hours I've played the game, I played mostly as a Soldier and a Sniper, and I seem to be doing decent.

I've seen bits and pieces of this game online as well as references to it, but I don't get on well with FPS games which is why I've never considered buying it obviously because I probably wouldn't enjoy it and it would be a wast of money.

Now I do have a Steam account and it being free now does give the option to at least try it and see, but I must say guys, and I'm going to sound awful and get a LOT of flak for this, but... I feel that you guys were kind of dicks to Super Meat Boy on the first page. His post didn't come across as if he was claiming to have massive knowledge of the game and was trying to say that the 360 version was superior or anything, but if you had told me that either was superior to the other I would have had to believe you purely because I wouldn't know of any differences, if any.

I can understand that it's probably "laughable" to those in the know, but it really does come across as horribly cruel to gang up on a person for making an innocent statement who might not know any better.

Surely "Actually, the 360 version sucks and lacks many of the features; try the PC version instead if you can" would have sufficed?

My lack of confidence with FPS and online games means I'm naturally dissuaded from trying out any game like that, but to have received that kind of response you can bet that I'd avoid TF2 and you guys like the plague. I could really do without more hatred simply for not being savvy about every popular game out there.

Perhaps Super Meat Boy didn't take it as much to heart as I have, and maybe it wasn't intended to be as cruel as it came across and was more a playful jab, but from here you guys look like dicks for responding that way.

That seems extremely harsh, and to be honest, rather unnecessary.

If you want to educate a person about a game that you like and that they are interested in, perhaps it would be better not to attack them if they accidentally touch on a hated aspect, but educate them about in a friendly way?

I know that people probably don't care, but it really throws my opinion of this forum that people could bandwagon on someone like that.
