I didn't really like Monster Hunter Tri that much, but if they changed a bit on a 3DS version I might be interested in picking it up.

I'd be thrilled if this turned out to be true. I don't recognise that map on the lower screen, so I don't think this would be a port of Monster Hunter Tri.

I guess the only potential problem with a 3DS Monster Hunter would be the battery life interfering with online play. I found that MH3 was the kind of game that you could easily play for hours on end, so I can easily foresee a lot of sudden disconnections due to the 3DS battery dying.

Even though It would be really fun for Monster Hunter to be on 3DS, It'll die shortly because of lack of battry life. But I hope they make it, since I loved MH 3!

Now THIS is a good idea... definitely would one of the top titles for me on the 3DS.

Portable action rpg mouthfoam 'gazm. Last game like that was Phantasy Star Zero on the DS.

I would love this. I like MH3 a lot, but it's hard to play it a lot since I tend to be careful about playing home consoles during uni semesters, since I get less 'addicted' to handheld games. A portable Monster Hunter for the 3DS would be great .

That screen thing there looks pretty good. If it's official (maybe?) I would be pretty happy. I knew the bottom screen would make a great map screen and item shortcut. (although i would have put the items on the other side of the screen)

EDIT: ...actually, that would be a great idea. Having the map on the right side, anyway. 'Cuz then the touch screen could be used as the camera control. No more claw!

I liked Monster Hunter Tri in theory, but I got bored of the same pattern of going out and killing something and skinning it and starting over. If they varied up a 3DS version enough, I'd definitely be up for it. Online on the Wii is pretty great, so that'd be another thing to look forward to for MH.

And the 3Ds' online is even better, so more to look forward to.

Well, that's disappointing.

I'm still going to hold out hope in a MH release for the Nintendo 3DS eventually, based on this quote from the producer Tsujimoto:

“The 3DS is releasing, too, so I think the right time to switch [Monster Hunter] to new hardware is coming as well"

Perhaps E3 (this year or next) will see an announcement...?

I only played a little bit of Monster Hunter, but i'm interested in 3DS.
Does it mean we need other psp accessories for a 3DS version
