Thats really strange, it just timed me out randomly. Hopefully I'll be able to connect soon

An error in MySQL that made it hang and use too much memory killed Minecraft. It's back now.

Also, Runecraft spews usage statistics when it starts up... there are 142 waypoints and 377 teleporters in the worlds. That's quite a lot.

say, this may sound silly, but how do teleporters work? do you need to OP them? do you just walk into a space? can it be two-ways? how awesome is your rapture?

You don't need to be an OP to make a teleport - google "Runecraft." You essentially construct a "hash" pattern and right-click the centre to be teleported to your desired destination (a waypoint with the matching pattern). They can be two-way if you construct another teleport on top of the waypoint.

The teleport between the two main worlds though is different, and needed to be created by OPs - that one does indeed involve walking into a space.

I love how nobody read my post about the spawn bug and fixing it. It took me a while to write that up.

It'd be worth giving it a shot at least. I haven't tried the /spawn command in ages for fear of losing all my materials.

It alters Minecraft's terrain generator so that it produces a world consisting of giant floating spheres, each with a separate biome. It's pretty spectacular.

Often enough. It just means that one of you - more likely the one in the wall/ground or floating - needs to disconnect from the server and reconnect again.

Yes, that's very often.

The biosphere mod looks really cool, but I don't like using mods.

Could you just start a new map, then save it and upload it to mediafire or something?

Downloaded it a short while ago, and suffice to say it's fantastic. The good thing is that it takes less time / effort to find diamonds and lapis, which makes the discovery less special in a way... but what the hell. I ruined it ages ago when I started spawning diamonds on my main MC Server

I can't move anything in my inventory or chests or anything. I click it, but it doesn't pick it up...

Last night I finally started and finished my house in a new/old location. On my first play through of using gargamel as my seed I found a nice location for a house. My first build there was pretty crappy but it served nicely as my base in that area. Of course my save got corrupted and just decided to start over. Almost 300 days Minecraft time passed before I started to go over in that area and re establish my base.

The new design, based on my first attempt, looks much nicer. The only problem is I used to much glass and that the view of one of the glasswalls along with the mainly glass roof was a bit bright. But I fixed it by reducing the glass. But overall I am enjoying the new storage room on the first level because it has more room

Oh and I also added a new boat elevator/exit. So now that if I am out boating or in need of just getting up I can quickly manage it. Part of my house overhangs a cliff area, which seemed like a good location for it. Always wanted to do something with it, but never got around to it the first time.

Now I just need to rebuild my minecart rails to it. Oh and now I get to look forward to gathering thousands of wood to build a neat bridge design I found on the Minecraft forum.

Good times. Looking forward to reexploring that area's cave systems. If I remember correctly there was plenty of ores to be dug up.

explored a bit more than Rapture =D the entire place is just awesome packed into 16 bit cubes. Sadly I noticed 2 or 3 creeper craters but that was the only downside. Bin scared to touch anything encase I do something wrong so I have basicaly just observed, but I cant wait til I am actualy not sleep deprived and can actualy trust myself to do stuff

oh I noticed, I think it is a shop? someone's basement has been flooded. Had a radiohead sign outside. Had a poster covered in glass inside and some sign's mentioning Merch.
