uh, IE7 is an ancient and decrepit browser. At least upgrade to IE9, if not Chrome or (my favorite) Firefox 4.

IE7 doesn't get anywhere close to passing the Acid3 web standards compatibility test.

I FINALLY found some Diamond, which is good because I could finally mine that Obsidian.
Now I have a portal to the Nether... On a floating island that is impossible to get off of without jumping into the ocean of lava.

Dammit. The /spawn command just sucks, then. I'll see about putting in the /home command (again).

no, I need to use WU because my comp cant run .exe s. A virus basicaly destroyed my computer's associations, so I can only open programs via a file i.e. paint with a picture, or something similar

and lava killed my diamond D=

I love using the drain command in SPC/WorldEdit. Been using it on large lava pools underground and it just opened up a whole new areas to explore and mine.

If you had such a virus on your computer, I'd reinstall Windows..


Scott, isn't the beds working as /home? Only that it's only working when you die?

Toho should install the plugin called SimpleHome.

And Toho, I think having a server where we can just test them on their minecraft skills WOULD be useful.
Not to build a city, but if they can build one good landmark they've proven their skill. Then by posting on the forums they can earn trust.

there is no "skill" requirement to get on the server proper

I could see your server being used as a griefer filter but that's as far as it goes

Just because there's no filter does not mean there's no point.

Like what discovr.us (a big server) do, they have a "Proving grounds" which you have to build in before you get to build on the main server. That's what we could do with your server.

I love playing Minecraft. I thought I'd post a few of my projects on here for fun! Being an avid Earthbound fan I made this gigantic Ness sprite structure on an online server. It was pretty fun to make.

So today I wsa in my Test Chamber 20 world. Basicly a world where I goof off and test things and just... goof off. and because I wanted to try and create a sort of giant water mesa thing. I started clearing a bunch of land out with World Edit. Apparently when I tried to replace a a bunch of blocks I goofed and like sorta deleted a whole big area of bedrock and some stone. Was sorta cool. Lava was just falling into the void... or atleast to the point where you can no longer place blocks.

So I guess I somehow ended up building down there. Not sure how it happened I just ended up thinking it be cool to build a house just above the void.

But I am actually really pleased at what I ended up creating.

Farm of Wheat/Sugarcane. It's pretty cool.

Of course I cheated to get everything and such. Also forgot to include recent SS of my glass path to my boat elevator. First time actually making one... well a working one. An old experiment when I knew next to nothing and such. lol

I guess going into a program and editing the bedrock out's the way to do it. I tried finding one of those random holes in bedrock and falling down and placing a block on the ceiling as fast as I could, but you can't place anything down there.
