"The cover for the upcoming issue of CoroCoro has leaked several days early and reveals what appears to be new formes for Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. The new Tornadus forme matches the mysterious bird silhouette from the Pokemon AR Searcher game preview last month - it seems Nintendo was actually trying to foreshadow new reveals when they first showcased the game! The person who posted the scan also stated that the magazine reveals Brock, Bianca, Cheren, and Giovanni will be in Black 2 and White 2, but we'll have to wait for the rest of the magazine to leak to find out what that's about!

Update (1:00 AM) - The poster of the scan has revealed more information! First, the new formes for Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus can only be caught in the Pokemon AR Searcher game, which of course can then be transferred over to Black 2 and White 2. Second, Cheren will appear in the games as a Gym Leader. Third, "Pokewood" will replace Black and White's musicals (a combination of Pokemon + Hollywood?); it's apparently the movie theater feature that appeared in several of the game trailers.

Update (3:45 AM) - The same source also says that Misty, Green (Gary), Lance, Volkner, and Steven Stone appear in a new facility run by Cynthia where you can battle them. That's probably where we'll see Brock and Giovanni as well.

Update (4:00 AM) - Lt. Surge and Erika will also be present. Apparently the facility is called "World Tournament." It seems you'll be able to battle every previous Gym Leader and Elite Four Champion there."

With the recent release of coro coro magazine,3 new forms were confimed:

The first image from CoroCoro has leaked out and showcases the first new Pokémon forms revealed. This issue's cover showcases that the Pokémon; Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus each have new forms. It is currently unknown if these forms feature any new types but they do match the silhouettes from Pokémon AR Searcher shown last month.

Anyway, I dunno if Team Rocket's coming back. It sounds like Giavonni is coming back just because he's an old gym leader. Not necessarily because Team Rocket will bein the game.

I used to be a big Pokemon fan, but the last few years I kinda lost interest in the series, since the main games didn’t really evolve much and I couldn’t seem to keep up with all the new ‘mons, and the increasing number of unobtainable legendaries and overly hard-to-obtain “normal” Pokemon annoyed me. As such, 3rd gen was the last Pokemon generation I was really invested in, and I dropped Pokemon Diamond after only 2 Gyms, and Pokemon Black after 5 (though that was more due to other games competing for my attention, since I had actually really enjoyed the game up to that point).

However, the announcement of Black & White 2, as well as various Pokemon Let’s Plays and wi-fi battles I’ve been watching on YouTube really gave me the urge to return to the world of Pokemon, so I deleted my old Pokemon Diamond file and started all over again, and this time I actually enjoyed myself greatly! The standard Pokemon formula felt nostalgic rather than stale after having been away from it for a while, and the subtle improvements the 4th generation brought (especially the physical/special split) were quite welcome. The game certainly had its problems, but overall it was much better than I remembered.

I’m also quite happy with the team I assembled, I made a point out of using Pokemons I’d never previously used on my party and my 6 mains all proved to be really useful:

Empoleon: Not only does he look really badass, he’s also a surprisingly strong mixed attacker (I imagined Empoleon to be much more of a defensive Pokemon). Having a priority move is really neat as well, considering how slow he normally is.

Crobat: One thing chuggaaconroy’s Pokemon LPs taught me was that Pokemon like Tentacool and Zubat are actually quite good, despite how common they are. I already had a water type, but thought it would be interesting to ditch the traditional flying types in favor of a Zubat, a choice I’m very happy with. Though hard to train at first (I never truly realized just how horrible Zubat’s early moves are in these games), the final product was quite impressive, Crobat being a very fast, reasonably strong and surprisingly bulky flying type.

Medicham: My, was this Pokemon a pleasant surprise, since I at several points considered dropping Meditite from my team. However, the Pure Power ability coupled with Hi Jump Kick and elemental punches means Medicham can potentially sweep teams and even entire Gyms. Seriously, the attacking power of this thing is amazing, and after teaching my Medicham thunder punch having an electric type on my team suddenly seemed pointless, since Medicham was one-shotting most water- and flying types anyway.

Rapidash: Not that Pokemon Diamond gives you many fire types to choose from, but this one was pretty good (too bad it learns Flare Blitz so late, since that move really takes advantage of its stats, unlike the other Fire moves). Probably not something I would use on my team again, but it did its job well enough during this playthrough.

Blissey: An egg I received hatching into a useful Pokemon? That sure felt strange, especially considering how things turned out in the 2nd generation. Anyways, Blissey is of course an amazing special wall, a team healer and even helped me catch a couple of legendaries (Serene Grace over Natural Cure has its advantages if you’ve given Blissey Ice Beam).

Dialga: Dialga + Adamant Orb + Dragon Pulse = Pwnage, reminds me of Mewtwo and Kyogre, the way nothing can really stand up to its mighty special attacks.

The Elite 4 was hell even with Dialga though, I actually had to grind for several hours before I managed to beat them, and even then I was very underleveled (Dialga was lv 54, the others were lv 52). They also haxed me way, way too often. Oh well, Cynthia was still a really cool Champion (I dunno whether she or Gary is my favorite Champion overall) and I really enjoyed the final battle. Now on to the post-game!

So apparently, Cheren's a gym leader in Black and White 2.

Also, all the Kanto gym leaders, Lance, Green, Steven, Volkner, and Cynthia are in the game.

^ None of that is confirmed, it's all tentative. However, I'd believe Cynthia being in the game. If she was featured and able to be battled in the last game, she'd be in Black and White 2, most likely.

Also, I'd honestly believe Volkner would be in the new games, too. If you fight the E4 a bunch of times, every time you fight Shauntal, she reads you a different excerpt from her novel. The third time you fight her, she talks about Volkner and that he challenged the Elite 4 in Unova, so that's always something.

But every Kanto Gym Leader coming to Unova, plus Giovanni, Lance, Steven, Blue/Green, etc.? I find that hard to believe.

The leak never said EVERY gym leader would be in, that's just speculation people are coming up with after having heard the new information.

From those Leaks, it seems that Bianca gives you your starter, and Cheren teaches you how to battle...

I have an odd feeling that you can fight him, just like red, and he'll have the legendary he caught while fighting N. (So if you're playing Black 2, he'd have Reshiram since Zekrom is the mascot)

Very interesting news to say the least, I'm looking forward to more information!
Got me more interested in B/W2 now!

I swear... If they do this and leave out the female protagonist again...

Anyway, actually why I responded to this is the issue with them having the legendary. That would mean that you would have to bring another Reshiram/Zekrom into the game to catch it. Unless you're implying that B/W's protagonist would give you the legendary afterward?

(I know, I know, you can have two legendaries on the same cartridge and the Pokemon world won't implode, however, it would be weird if you officially had to do that to be able to catch the Pokemon)

If the previous rival would have Zekrom/Reshiram, perhaps it would make more sense since you have Black Kyruem/White Kyurem to counter it.

And about the Female Protagonist issue, what if they just make it that you face the Male Protagonist if you're male and the female if you are female? ;-)
Can't be too hard to make it work as they just need an if-statement to switch between the genders

I'd be perfectly fine with that, but I'd be shocked if it were actually implemented. The fact that Leaf didn't even get a mention in HG/SS (which still would have been far too little) shows that Gamefreak doesn't care.

We'll see! Probably it wont happen, but one can always hope :p

Is it just me, or do the new forms for the Kami Trio on the first picture resembles the past legendaries? To be more precise:
Landorus resembles Entei/Raikou.
Thundurus resembles Articuno.
Tornadus resembles Lugia.

Maybe it's just me...

So it looks like Cheren is gonna be the first gym leader, and he gives you the Basic badge.
I wonder if he's going to be the leader of Hiougi City (the starting city).

He has a Patrat on his team and you face him in an area that looks suspiciously a lot like the city.
Also, remember that the footage we have of the city deliberately cut off before they showed us the northern side of it.

Yeah, it's already confirmed to be the replacement to them. Good choice too, because Musicals looked pitiful.
