[PC] |OT| Minecraft III: Read the Opening Post, young Minecrafter

How far is too far off? I only seem able to jump a few blocks

GKANG: Song of Storms is AWESOME, but wouldn't it be a bit better suited to the Windmill or the Graveyard?

I dunno how far it is on the ZU server. I've been able to jump 20-30 blocks with the compass on my server. Experiment!

It'll be put under the windmill probably once it's done. There was just a lot of space on Hyrule field.

Also guys, don't be insulting when discussing this project. All it does is cause arguments and it has no room in the thread - it's not constructive. It feels pretty ridiculous for me and 8bit to have started the project with the Deku Tree, which has been burned down twice, only for it to be mocked because I said that the length of the pathways in the meadow could have been shorter to reduce the width up top. It's still there, no changes were even made.

If anyone has any spare cobblestone stacks (Yeah, cobblestone), I need a LOT of it. I've started to build something and I need cobblestone. Of course I could build it from other **** too, but it would just take way too long.

I've uploaded some of the Kokiri skins I've made onto Planet Minecraft (along with some other skins I've made /shamelessplug). Will keep uploading as I finish. Feel free to comment and give suggestions, they're put as 100% complete, but I am willing to make any edits necessary. :3

Not a city per se, but I don't plan on using any land outside of the area I marked in that image. I wouldn't mind having neighbors. ^-^

If I had to criticize something about them, it'd be that the Kokiris that aren't blonde have more orangey hair than that. That's just my taste.

I reached the point on Minecraft where I was bored with Minecraft vanilla. In all honesty, vanilla Minecraft has a point of tedium - there's only so many things to do before you get bored. So, I decided to mod this ***** up, and I think that it is something everyone should do - mods add so much to Minecraft. Honestly, I think some should just be added to the game straight off.

Well they are adding a way to officially support mods, as far as I know, so that's close.

I havn't used any mods yet, well texture pack but thats it, nothing game changing What are some good mods? ^_^

Mo's creatures definitely. They've got horses, pegasai(whatever the plural for pegasus is) birds, rabbits, foxes, you name it, they've probably got it. Also for single-player map editing, MCedit.

Just curious if it's just me... but what's up with the map of the new world? The surface view option is a red block instead of a green, and when it's clicked on... it's just all black. What happened? ;_;

Anywho... I really hate to compete with others, and I'll try and collect most of it on my lonesome, but I need a lot of cobble/smooth stone for this project I'm doing.... and I mean a lot. around 70,000 blocks is a good start =P

fail#1; mining 4 stone 4 my giant castle and encountering lava fail #2: stupid creeper!!! (do i need 2 explain any more?? ) fail#3: 5 creeper destroying house. fail #4: building second story of house and a spider visits. fail#5: another creeper with a tag team of 3 skeletons 6 zombies and a spider. final failure:lava burning down my house.(don't ask how the lava got there,because i have no idea ) reply your six (or more) fails below.

We already have a minecraft thread, so I'm going to merge this into that

I havn't had any fails ^_^ not on my main single player map anyway. My fort is pretty much impentrable lol. Even spiders can't get in because of overhangs on the walls ^_^

My biggest fail is having an ogre break through my castle wall and decimate my chests.

Such an ambitious project.... Rebuilding every dungeon? Are you guys planning on making it for Young Link or Adult Link?
