Killzone 3 hype thread.

WOW is all I can say since watching beta footage of this game. Killzone 2 was an amazing game, it, along with uncharted 2 and Last Guardian is the reason I picked up a PS3 slim back in '09. Even as we approach 2011 I still think it's the undisputable best looking FPS on a console. That will change I think, when it's bar raising sequel is released this coming February. I never got around to playing the beta (Reach has consumed my multiplayer gaming since it released) but I've been watching some vids and looks amazing.

From what I've seen this game seems to fix the technical issues from Killzone 2s multiplayer while forging new ground and creating more varied gameplay. The sluggish aiming looks to be fixed, while still presenting the level of graphical detail and realism that kz2 had, and even vastly improving upon it.

The game looks beautiful, the animations and textures are easily the best I've ever seen in a console game. And yes I think it even beats Uncharted 2. For example I can't get over how cool the various melée kills look. They're so deatailed and gory. And animated amazingly. If you thought knife kills in CoD were cool, wait till you see this. Yes it even beats my darling halo reachs mark for awesome assasinations.

The flow of the gameplay and design of the maps looks awesome, and much more streamlined than killzone 2s.

Basically I'm am Xbox fan who's PS3 mostly sits in the dust; but there are a few games on the PS3 that I CANNOT possibly ignore, and I think Killzone 3 is the next to be on that list.

So I guess we can use this as a discussion/hype thread for those who are really looking forward to this game. Of course it's only in beta and we can't say anything for sure until we get to play it gold, I think this one is gonna rock.
