[PC] Minecraft: SRS BISONS

TIME FOR A NEW MINECRAFT THREAD. I'm going to add some more sections compared to last time where everything basically grew in small chunks over time. Just so we have a more comprehensive OP.

THREAD RULES

Do not:

• Simply ask for the IP. These posts are spam and will be deleted on sight.
• Stray too far into spammy side-conversation. If this becomes a problem, the thread will be temporarily locked.
• Directly quote pictures. Put an asterisk in the tags or put them in [espoiler] tags.

  • Make a simple comment concerning pictures. Make suggestions, ask questions, etc. You do not need to simply comment "I like this!"

Do:

• Ask questions
• Make constructive comments regarding the works of others

The community project 'New Hyrule' is housed on the Zelda Universe server - not a public server. If you want the IP, you can't just join and make your first post on the forums "What's the IP?". When you've been here for a while and have posted around in topics that interest you, by all means PM me for the IP. We'll be able to tell from your behaviour if you're trustworthy (I assume a good majority of you are, but it's a precaution nonetheless.)

Question for you GKANG, since you are talking directly to Zhark. Surely since he can implement new mobs, he can surely make new materials as well. Shouldn't he make silver or such, because that would be more logical to kill werewolves?

Yeah he knew it was silver, but gold is the closest in-game thing. And he can make new items (see: horse saddle), but making silver would require him to make all items in silver and have their own unique use other than "silver sword can kill werewolves". That and I think he wants to focus more on the great AI and mobs themselves right now. He is eventually adding new mob drops though, I know that much!

I have to go now for a few hours, but when I get back I'll work on the sections and also add:

- Youtube links in the video section for ZU minecrafters on there.
- Links to Minecraft related things (blog etc.)
- Links to great mods and texture pack.
- I'll think of more later, I really should go.

Okay. I'm currently publishing a vid of my own minecraft thing, but I'll upload my two vids of the ZU server soon.

Also, if anyone would like to do commentary with me on some of my videos, grab skype and let me know! It will be fun and provide good entertainment for ZU minecrafters!

Well, I'm quite new to the server. Name I use is Chocobotamer. Hopefully I'll be able to get some Minecraft videos recorded later tonight, I'll throw in some ads for the MinecraftZU and Blizzaga's channels, mentioning the work and shizz. There's so many awesome things on the server to show people!

Tott, you and I sometime should commentate together on a few vids! Wouldn't that be fun?

Also, I forget who suggested it but it would be a good idea to post in the OP with the names of the most populated regions on the map.

I second this. It's absolutely amazing.

Speaking of Mo' Creatures, I found my first Pegasus yesterday. I've named it Zephyr. :>

Also, it might be a good idea to list who's doing what. I for one am working on the Ruins of Alph and the Mines of Moria.

- Bears /Polar Bears
- Lions / Lioness'
- Ducks
- Boars
- Wolves
- Ogres / Fire Ogres / Cave Cyclops
- Wraiths / Fire Wraiths
- Horses (normal, brown, black, unicorn, pegasus.)

Perhaps upload the old one so other people can get their stuff with mcedit.

The server has its moments (ironically, tell us not to be dicks >.>), things are going better!
