Fallout: New Vegas

Console commands don't work on Xbox. I'm too poor to afford a gaming pc.

I just lost ED-E in the explosion at Vault 22, and had some trouble getting him back using the console.

Also, I took out the whole Legion camp at Cottonwood AND cleared the Deathclaws out of the quarry using only the Gobi Sniper and Boone. Veronica and Cass were there, but they didn't do much. Boone basically shot the ones that I missed.

****ING LEGION SCUM.

Also I'm level 22 and I haven't even entered the Strip yet.

So my new file, I've been focusing on melee and sneak. It is godly. Right now my weapon of choice is the rebar that the Nightkin use. It is ****ing badass. I really wanted to take Davison's giant sword but I didn't want to risk being swarmed by the nightkin in the basement.

With my new file I'm only at level 12 right now, already entered the strip, and took out Benny and his gang along with the chairmen in the tops casino ONLY using the lead pipe. Lead pipe! It was ****ing amazing I love melee so much.

So only being at level 12 I got the Platinum chip but I'm still going to do a **** load of other things. I want to attempt to take out the Deathclaws with the most badass melee weapon I can find.

Have you tried the Thermic Lance? It's a great melee weapon, I love sneaking around with it and sneak-attack-criticaling enemies with it.

Well, I managed to get ED-E back with the developer console, but when I do that I actually have two ED-E's for some reason, even though I only typed it in once. However, this is actually kinda useful, so I'm not going to bother trying to fix it.

Alright, that's it, you've all convinced me to buy FO3 on the PC so I can make an army of companions.

Unlimited Companions mod for you there.

I already have Cass ("Shh, we're hunting ****heads."), Veronica ("Probably going to die of natural causes anyway"), Boone ("Let ME aim that for you next time.") and ED-E ("beep").

I can't get the unlimited companions mod to work. I just picked up Veronica, and it wouldn't let me get her until I dumped Boone even though I already have the mod installed and activated. Is there some trick to it? Do I need to use the dev console or something?

On a side note, I really like Veronica. She is the first character I've come across who has the quality characterization that IMO New Vegas has so far been lacking (then again, I may just be holding this game to unfairly high standards since the last game I played was Mass Effect 2); Raul and Boone simply aren't anywhere near as interesting to talk to. She's pretty funny, plus she has a pretty interesting back story to boot.

And she's Felicia Day.

I'm gonna start a new file. My game keeps freezing on the mission where I protect the NCR president.

I didn't have any problems with that. By the time I got to her, I already had Boone and ED-E.

Boy, you need to talk to Boone more. Kill a lot of Legionaries and you'll see.

I can't stress enough about how console owners are missing out in the New Vegas experience. This game is meant to be played on the PC.

Every FPS is supposed to be played on PC.

But some of us are poor and in school. Or just poor. Can't afford gaming rigs till at least the summer

NEW PATCH! Completely fixed my frame rate issues with the PC version, no more weird "stutter."

Time to start a new game.

I wonder if I'll be able to apply it... with... all the stuff... you know

I've never understood people wanting nude mods for games like Elder Scrolls. 99% of the unequipped people you see are corpses that you looted the equipment off of. And since Fallout 3 and New Vegas add dismemberment into the mix it's really, just, ugh.
