Hardest Game?

I 1cc'd Ikaruga back on the Gamecube. I suck at scrolling shooters now though so I can't do it on the XBLA version ):

The hardest UNOFFICIAL game for me was Super Mario Cube Root Of 3. It's kind of frustrating to know that I have to do Super Mario Cube Root Of 9 and 27.

I can't think of the hardest game I've ever completed, or played, but I can think of a one in particular that was hard for me. And, that'd have to be Star Ocean 3. I believe is was my first JRPG aside from Final Fantasy, and since the combat system was considerably different, I was kinda lost. Plus, overall, I just found it to be a challenging game.

I haven't played Megaman, or Resident Evil before, so I really can't judge them.

Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts. Definitely.

Oh, and on the subject of hard Mega Man games, try Mega Man 10 on hard mode. It rapes your **** like nothing.

Hmm, it would take me a while, but I'm fairly positive I could do it.

Mega Man 10 isn't hard at all.

I wasn't talking about the F word. I was mainly referring to the word "rape."

But I don't want to make this thread go off topic, so enough about that. If I ever complete an SMB game, they might be the hardest too. I've always had trouble getting very far in them.

Actually, I've beaten Turtle Rock. Twice. It's Ganon's Tower I can't get through.

Meh, the Parallel Worlds version of Alttp is where the challenge is at.

ALttP is a very hard game

Yeah ok. Use maps. Once you know the route through Ganon's Tower, youll be like "oh balls! Thats it? LOL!" Also some of those light the four torches puzzles in that level can get grating but just keep on your toes and use the fire rod.

Uhh i remember beating Legendary Wings (for the NES) once and it was very very hard. I never could beat it again. I beat Castlevania 1 once too in my youth. Again i could never beat it again.

I know it sounds silly but Okami has some really hard parts and its not combat related stuff. Those fishing games can get hard (MARLIN! How i loathe you!) and those damn Blockheads! RAHHHHH! I havent finished the game yet but im FINALLY on my way of doing so. (god that game is so great...its hard to put down! Stupid stupid mini game hell!)

Alright, people need to leave me the hell alone about my opinion on ALttP's difficulty. >_>

Can you stop giving Palomino such a hard time about ALttP? She finds it hard; you don't. If she wants game help she'll go to the Zelda section for it.

Different people have different levels of what they find difficult. I'd call OoT a hard game because I'm as good as figuring our puzzles as a frog, but I'm very sure you guys wouldn't.

Metroid Prime on Hard mode bent me over a table and mercilessly screwed until I was almost unable to stop the bleeding, and couldn't sit down for days.
I mean, I'm terrible at it now having not played it for a long time, but the point still stands. It's a cruel and merciless God.

Really? Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn was a snap on easy, for myself. A bit challenging on Normal. But, hard was definitely tough, I still, to this day haven't even beaten Part I Chapter 3.

Anyway, the hardest game for me is either Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link, or Tales Of Symphonia. Zelda II's bosses were challenging, and Tales Of Symphonia's bosses were not only challenging, but the game was so long it needed 2 disks.

I'd have to say Capcom vs SNK 2: Mark of the Millenium on the hardest difficulty. Especially after Ultra Rugal gets used to your fighting style.
