Nintendo Game Characters war

imagine a battle between the next Nintendo Characters. Who would win, and why?

Mario vs Link
Bowser vs Donkey Kong
Zelda vs Samus

Mario vs. Link- Link, simply because his sword kicks the ass out of Mario anyday.

Bowser vs. Donkey Kong- Bowser is bigger o-O

Zelda vs. Samus- Samus wins by a long shot. Nothing like a hot chick with a large cannon.

You know, I can tell who is going to win, Link, this is a Zelda board, so no non Zelda characters will win, and then, Link beats Zelda anytime. (I myself am not voting.)

Link, Because Mario sucks against Link, honestly haven't you played Super Smash Brothers Melee
Bowser, He has fire breath
Samus, In those type of games Zelda sucks. O yea even in the Zelda games she sucks, she only helped in one final boss battle then she went luny and shot arrows at you, how dumb is that.

He's got a point there. In SSBM, Mario practically has his whole arsenal of weopons, while Link has a fraction of his.

Hmmm they are both enemies of Mario. Can anyone say BBQ ape? Bowser takes the win on this one.

I'm a big Zelda fan, but there's so little you can do when you are up against a space fighter. I'd have to say Samus is the winner.

Actually, Mario can easily beat Link when in the hands of a professional, trust me. Mario is a very good character, preferd by some of the best players in SSBM, but not that many of them use Link. Anyway, as I ahve stated before, I will not vote in this.

What evidence do you have to back that up?

Mario is good against Link, and Link is bad against Mario.

Link VS Mario= Link
Reason: Out of all Marios bosses he has had to face, Bowser is the toughest, but I bet Bowser isnt even as tough as the first boss Link had to face. (Gohma) Link has been through a lot more, and has a larger arsenal of weapons, and in Sword VS Fist combat, who do you think is gonna win?

Bowser VS Donkey= Bowser
Reason: Bowser has an armor shell and spikes. He also has fire breath, he is also stronger, he also meaner, he is also bigger. I think this one is obvious.

Zelda VS Samus= Samus
Reason: Its basically Magic VS Technology here, along with the fact that Samus is agile enough to dodge any Magic attacks, and since she speciallizes in fighting, this one was the hardest choice but it still wasnt that hard.


BTW I got a question with some real debate potential:
Mario VS Luigi

I know everyone thinks that Mario is better because he has been in more games, but I dont think that necessarily means he would win in a fight with Luigi.

Mario vs Link- Link. Due to the fact that he has a sword,shield, and the Triforce of Courage. Also link has a wider array of weapons e.g. Bow,Megaton Hammer,Bombs,Hookshot et cetera.

Bowser vs DK- Bowser. He has spikes and in the Super Mario RPG he threw mario as an attack. that alone speaks for itself.

Zelda VS Samus- Samus. As much as i like Zelda i must go with Samus. SHe is faster, has a wider array of weapons,can blow um Zelda and has that neato morph ball.

Link Vs. Mario -Link, it depends on which link, young or older? i think older would win but younger would be a close battle, i dont like young link...

Bowser vs DK -DK because he is a giant monkey, come on.

Zelda Vs. Samus Aran - Zelda, if she turns into Shiek, she would be everywhere, i mean telporting everywhere, yes her attackare weak but shes a fast mother, samus is a powerhouse, with decent speed, i'd say Zelda/Sheik.

Ahhh good point ASB. If it was Adult Link (which I think everybody was thinking), I think Link would win. And like you said, a battle against Child Link would be a close battle, but if that were the case, I'd have to go with Mario on that one. So which Link did you mean Tipsko? Adult or Child?

Play two player with a Mario champion vs. a person who knows how to work Link hit up and B=spin slash it will ruin Mario

Mario vs. Link: Link would win because marios just using his hands and his butt. Link is using arrows bombs sword boomerang.

Donkey Kong vs. Bowser: Bowser would win cause he would torch dk and it woudl be over

Zelda vs. Samus: Samus because she would jump over Zelda with space jump and blast her from behind

:gets out Melee:

Link VS Mario = Mario

Bowser VS Donkey Kong = Donkey Kong

Zelda Vs Samus = Zelda.

I used all level 9, items high, final destination stage.

1.link- he has a weapon thats not a plunger or a super soaker
2.Bowser- DK is just a big dumb ape
3.Samus- zelda can't fight

Mario vs Link - Link. Sword vs First? Eh... don't think Mario could win...
Bowser vs Donkey Kong - Bowser. Much stronger, spike shell, DK's just a big ape that's going to get himself burned.
Zelda vs Samus - Samus.

Actually in a SSBM stand-point, Mario destroys Links.

Link has range, and Up-B to take Mario's recovery.

Mario has chain-grab, better projectile spamming, Cape, combos against Link, more speed, better Wavedash, better grab, better throws, better air attacks, better smashes, and a ground game that can match Link's.

On a non-SSBM stand-point, Link wastes Mario (unless Mario can get 12 1-ups from Link's projectiles >_>)

But in SSBM, Mario wastes Link.
