Which game is harder: Shinobi or Ninja Gaiden?

What do you guys think? I can adjust to extremely hard games pretty easily, so I wouldn't really know, but it took me a while longer to get Shinobi right.

Shinobi is a lot tougher. At least there is a floor for Ninja Gaiden's later levels!

I haven't played Ninja Gaiden at all, but I know that Shinobi was incredibly difficult. It was horrendously difficult to get through some levels, especially considering you had to start back at the beginning every time you died, which got me really pissed off, but it was still a good game. I can't really judge though..

Depends wich shinobi and wich ninja gaiden youre talking about.
For me, ninja gaiden was harder, but then again i didnt play it as much as shinobi.

Probably talking about the PS2 Shinobi and the Xbox Ninja Gaiden....

Well i was talking about oldies, havent played those two.
Ninja gaiden was a great game on my nes, and shinobi was perfect for the genesis. I never got to fiish return of shinobi, even tho i own it for the sega cd.... i couldnt get past one of the alst stages.

I dont know.. thats a good question.. cuz the new Ninja Gaiden for X-box is tough.. but so was Shinobi... but the new Shinobi isn't that tough as the old Arcade ones... cuz I spend like about 100 dollars on that game..

I just got Ninja Gaiden yesterday, and boy is it annoying! Especially as I couldn't use my S-pad so I couldn't hold the controller right...

The only Shinobi I've played was on the Mega Drive(Genesis), and it was just unfair how you got hit when you don't even get hit, if you know what I mean...

I can't really compare the two, but I'd guess at Ninja Gaiden.

I didn't play much of the classic games, but I have the PS2 version of Shinobi and the Xbox version of Ninja Gaiden and I'd say Shinobi was harder. At least in Ninja Gaiden you can block.

shamefully I have never played Shinobi, but I am a fan of Ninja Gaiden as I thought it was a great game and I got hooked on it for a time. I never really thought of it as a hard game but now I think of it I suppose it was kinda hard, but I cant compare them as I have never played Shinobi.

At least in Ninja Gaiden you've got a floor to stand on.

I've played Shinobi for PS2 and have Ninja Gaiden for the box, and I'd have to say that Gaiden is much harder. It's one of my favorites, but there's no denying that it's harder.
