Played Uncharted 3 for the first time today. Ran down a hallway with the trigger held down spraying everybody wildly with my AK, only one survivor, continue running in his direction, hit the melee button, Drake flips his gun around, grabs with both hands onto the barrel, and swings it like a baseball bat, hitting the last opponent in the cheek with its stock, and knocks him out instantly.

I am no stranger to taking completely retarded and flashy high risk, high reward approaches to combat but this was too far. That's the stupidest attack I've ever seen in any video game ever.

I saw Kid Icarus for $39 today but I already preordered Guild Wars, so I figured I should save my money instead.

I wonder if it'll be there after my next pay...

Oh hey, did you play the Guild Wars 2 beta yet Panique? How is it? My friend played it, but he's not much of a critic. Nor is he articulate...

I'm enjoying it quite a lot, although I'm not getting too devoted to any character right now since these ones are gonna get erased anyway. It's making me anticipate the official release even more.

I played the beta of GW2 and it's great. I really like the idea of combining skills with other players to use new skills. I also like that players don't always have to form a holy trinity party.

Even though I'm itching to play it right now, I'm pretty sure there would be a lot of latency and patching issues due to the servers being overcrowded once it's out. So I'll control myself and let GW2 mature and age for a while.

Just bought a SNES/NES player with Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Super Castlevania IV, Clay Fighter, and ALttP.

Thinking of getting Journey, heard a lot about it, mostly from ZU

I just want to know a little about the game, I know it looks gorgeous, and apparently, the music is good too.

My only question, do you have to have an internet connection to play?

No. Just to download it (obviously).

You'd be missing out on the co-op, but the game has its merits when you solo it as well. Co-op isn't necessary at all though.

I mentioned this before, but I cannot stress how short of a game Journey is. Just be prepared to beat it easily within the afternoon (it took me around 4 hours on my first run).

I'm really loving Mafia 2, even moreso than the original.

Throwing Molotov cocktails at police cars while listening to "That's Amore" in a clothing store ranks among my most awesome gaming moments. Definitely the most awesome moment in a while.

The original was good, but the excessive speeding tickets just killed it for me.
