Yoshi's Island on VC?

Seriously, no matter how many times I keep checking (whenever I get the chance to anyway) the Wii Shop Channel, there's no Yoshi's Island available!

Does anyone know if it'll ever go on the VC or why it isn't on the VC yet? This makes me mad because Yoshi's Island is my favorite SNES game. I mean, Yoshi's Story is there, so there's no excuse for leaving out Yoshi's Island.

You finally managed to greatly disappoint me, Ninty.

Oh, how I wish Yoshi's Island were on VC. Oh, how I wish Super Smash Bros., Super Mario Kart, Dr. Mario, Mega Man: The Wily Wars, and so many other games were on VC.

Truth be told, we have no idea when certain games will make it on the VC, if ever. In the case of Yoshi's Island, I've heard that there are problems emulating a graphics chip from that game, but I don't know if there's any truth to those rumors.

Yoshi's Island (or any other given game) could come out as soon as next Monday. Or it could be as late as the end of the Wii generational era. We just have no idea. And that's the most frustrating part about it.

And by then, they'll release a new system that prolly isn't backwards compatible with old VC titles, or that uses a different server for VC titles.

I've been saving my points for Yoshi's Island too. Man, how I wish to see it on the VC soon.

And I hope that rumor is just a rumor. ._.

I've been considering Paper Mario and SM64 too though. Unfortunately, I have only enough points to get one of the two if I ever decide. Still, Yoshi's Island comes first if it arrives soon enough.

They're keeping all the good games for all the special days, like x-mas, new years etc.

Go for Super Mario 64. (Granted, I haven't played Paper Mario before...) But SM64 is a genuine classic.

I might go with SM64 if Yoshi's Island doesn't come soon. I was never fond of the turn systems in Mario RPGs, so yeah.

And Rew's right, Hombre. Smash Bros is on the VC everywhere except North America.

I already downloaded Yoshi's Island a long time ago. Just not for the Wii. *nudge nudge*

I'd complain about Smash Bros. being on Europe VC and not on North American VC, but I know that Europe normally gets stuff long after North America does.

So I'll sit and wait.

Yoshi's Story came bundled along with my Pikachu N64. I haven't played it all that much.
