Finally Got an N64 Today!

I've been wanting to get another N64 for a while and I got one today! It's awesome. I cannot believe how good its condition is! I cannot find one scratch! I'm really happy with my purchase. Here's what I got:
Nintendo 64 w/ Expansion Pack & Controller - $29.99
Banjo Kazooie - 7.99

So I think that is awesome. And I already have an N64 controller from when I had my old N64 so I already have 2 controllers. And my friend is gonna let me borrow Perfect Dark so that's awesome. And Banjo Kazooie; It's been 5 years since I've played that game and it's bringing so much nostalgia, so yes, I'm happy I picked this game out. And tomorrow, I'm going back to my local Disc Replay to get Donkey Kong 64, so that's awesome.
I'm just so happy with my purchase, and I just thought I'd like to share this with you guys.

Just be careful with your save batteries when you're buying games.

Great. Never got to play with my Nintendo 64 that much. The Gamecube was almost on its way that time. But i had very good memories playing on it.

On top of things, as usual.

Get NHL 99. Greatest gaming experience of my life.

At my Disc Replay they have around maybe 50 to 75 different N64 games, and all the great ones too! The most expensive N64 game there is Conker's Bad Fur Day, a really great game, but it's 35.99! Do you know why it's so expensive? Let me know.
They do have Paper Mario, but I already have it for the VC. I'm at the part where I just got all 4 magical seeds and I'm in the place with all the flowers.
As for the Zeldas, I'm going to get Majora's Mask after I get Donkey Kong 64. I might get OoT but I already have it for the VC.

@Metropalis: I know, it's been out for around 13 years as a matter of fact. I know it's old, I used to have it when I was a little kid, and I thought it was the greatest thing in the world, but one day it disappeared and I never saw it again, and to this day I still don't know what happened to it. I'm just glad I have got another one.

@Sailboat: NHL 99? Alright, I may check it out. I heard it had a really great soundtrack.

Re: Finally Got an N64 Today!

Conker? Its probably because its semi-rare and a very sought after title. That game has a cult following.

A cult following, huh? Okay. Cause I thought to myself "What the...? The game is more than the system!" But I would be more than willing to buy it anyways, but not right away.

One of the best. However, I'm not sure if the game is for everyone. The game was part of my childhood, so I'm biased.

Starfox 64 is one of the best games of all time, and it's on the N64. I highly recommend it above all else.

Oh, and if I were you, I'd get Banjo Tooie instead of Donkey Kong 64. They're both very similar platformers by Rare, but I think Banjo Tooie is better.

Re: Finally Got an N64 Today!

Well yeah its because people loved that game. It was probably the only title that was really raunchy and rated M for good reason on that console. The South Park game was ok but nowhere near as awesome as Conker. Its gonna be expensive.
Yeah get Starfox 64. That one should be pretty cheap and everywhere. Also if you can find it, get Mischief Makers! That game is bizarre but awesome!

Re: Finally Got an N64 Today!

I'd still play my N64 if the controllers weren't complete garbage. The shape is fine, but the joysticks wear out like crazy. I can't buy them anywhere but online anymore either, and I'm unwilling to pay $30 for a controller I know will break quickly.

Its not too bad, ok may be it is, but it could be worse. My copy of Persona 2 cost over $100.

Have fun with the system though. It may be old, but they still should work great.

I occasionally like sports games so yeah, I may check it out.

I honestly have never played that game, but I heard it was great, and I will definitely get it sometime. I have played the one on SNES though.

Well, Donkey Kong 64 was a big part of my childhood, so I'm going to get that first. And plus I just got Banjo Kazooie, and until I beat that game, I am not getting the sequel. But I will definitely get it sometime because that games rocks.

@Flornia Belmont: I get it now, thanks. I can't believe my mom let me play Conker's Bad Fur Day when I was younger though. Maybe she didn't notice it was rated M.
And Starfox 64, yes, I plan on getting in before the holiday season rolls through. They do have it at my Disc Replay. I don't remember the cost but it wasn't above $10, I know that.
Mischief Makers? I'll look up some YouTube videos of that, and check it out, cause I've never heard of it.

@daeth: Well both my controllers' joysticks work fine, I'm sorry about yours. 30$ for an N64 controller is a little expensive, yes. The ones at my Disc Replay are $14.99, and I still think that's a little much. It should be $9.99.

@squall24: $100? Wow... That is a lot. I am sure to have tons of fun with this system! Thanks!

@Panique: Is there a problem with saving? Cause so far, I haven't had a problem.

@Pikachu: Hahaha! I can oubviously tell you like Pokemon. I thought that N64 was awesome when it came out. That sure is awesome looking!
I got the original color because I just like to keep it plain and simple.

8? Care to lend me a couple?
Nah, just kidding. That is a lot of controllers.
What games do you have?

@Flornia Belmont: I looked up a Mischief Makers video. It was the fight against Mecro. I thought it was funny when he said "Dr. Smooth-Love!" That was funny! And it looks like an alright game. Who knows, I may pick it up in the near future.

Congratulations. You now own a 64-bit thirteen year old console with no online, and countable polygons.

Woohoo!
