Yes, he is a disgrace to gaming because he doesn't have a console that is 15 years out of production and will probably be completely forgotten by the general populace within two decades.

I don't think it'll be forgotten. The SNES had some really great games, like Zelda ALttP, Chrono Trigger, Mega Man X, Super Mario World 1-2, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario Kart, Final Fantasy, blah, blah, blah, you get the point.

Name a really awesome movie from exactly 35 years ago. Oh, and it was only appreciated in a very niche market.

That's an amazing deal.

Alright, so, you just bought one of the best consoles in gaming history, and it's not just for the mainstream titles. While Star Fox 64, Super Mario 64, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, etc. etc. are all masterpieces, the N64 has a very deep library.

Here's a small list of underappreciated games on the N64:

Body Harvest
-Think Grand Theft Auto, except you're an orange Master Chief who travels through modern history. You hi-jack old helicopters, biplanes, buggies, tanks, and other stuff in an effort to destroy time travelling aliens. This game is pretty much the precursor to the 3-D Grand Theft Auto games.

Space Station Silicon Valley
-This game is fantastic. You're this super hero and this robot who can turn into this computer chip on a space station-amusement park-zoo. There are a bunch of different landscapes and robotic animals that inhabit them. The robot guy takes over the robotic animals and uses them to solve puzzles, stuff like taking over a Ram and herding Sheep to a pen, or taking over a Shark and attacking Dolphins.

Rocket: Robot on Wheels
-The premise is kind of similar to the last game; you're a robot in a amusement park-zoo. But in this one, you're a robot-roller coaster designer. You use a grappling beam and a couple of other power ups to build roller coasters to solve problems and save animals. It's ballin'. I also remember the graphics being absolutely spectacular.

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
-Make sure you have a Memory Pack, though

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon 2

Ogre Battle 64
-It's the closest thing to a "Fire Emblem 64," and it's a unique Turn-Based Strategy game in it's own right.

Star Wars: Episode I Racer
-This game is incredibly fast and had fantastic graphics for the time (they're definitely not an eyesore nowadays). It's single player is awesome because you buy parts for your racer as you get more money, although all you get are better and better parts.

Shadow Man
-Imagine Zelda except voodoo themed and with alot of blood. I love the atmosphere, but as a standalone game, it's fantastic. It's closer to Banjo-Kazooie in terms of overall gameplay, since you get upgrades for your combat abilities, but it's like Zelda due to the use of items to solve puzzles. It's also sort of like Grand Theft Auto since it's mission-based.

Spider-Man
-Oh man, what a good game. Spider-Man feels like Spider-Man, he eventually buys many awesome techniques, and there are a ton of bonuses, like extra suits (like a Spawn suit that gives you infinite webbing, a Captain America suit that makes you invincible), four entire comic books, etc.

Jet Force Gemini
-Banjo-Kazooie as a 3rd person shooter. It's totally action packed, and completely awesome in that regard, thanks to the cool weapons. There's still puzzle aspects using the weapons, and switching between the three main characters (including a cute hovering dog. :-3).

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
-This isn't necessarily underappreciated, but this is one of the best flight sim shooters ever. The game has really cool ships (of course), and it's focused on short, sweet missions that don't go longer than 4 minutes (except for two) where you play them over and over to improve your score and earn medals. The only sore spots are the fact that the second to last mission is literally almost impossible (even the creators think so), and the Trench Run and Hoth missions are super innacurate (there is a ****ing turn in the Trench). Cheating gets rid of the first problem and, in fact, there are some awesome cheats.

South Park
-An FPS of South Park. It's amazing, due to how simply fun it is. Good level design + ridiculous weapons + fun bosses + South Park humor = jawesome.

World Driver Championship
-The N64's Gran Turismo, and IMO, it's much, much better. It has awesome cars, and you unlock cars based on your loyalty to a team (using their car multiple times) in the single player mode. The tracks are really cool, and the graphics are amazing (for the time, now they're nice).

Also, get Turok, Perfect Dark, and Goldeneye if you like FPS.

Wow dude, thanks! That helps a lot. I have played Star Wars Episode I Racer when I was younger and I thought it was a good game, yes.
I have also played Spiderman and I loved that game! I am definitely getting it sometime.
But yeah, this helps, so thanks dude.

Good for you, just be careful with some of the game save batteries. Some may have worn out as they haven't been played for a long time.

My NES and SNES games still have working batteries, and they are far older. Have you experienced bad N64 batteries? That would surprise me.

Hell, I never had a Super Nintendo.
I bought a NES from a pawn shop over the summer. Sadly, it hasn't gotten much use except for the week after I brought it home.

But the N64 had a lot more AAA games. All the PS1 had was Square RPGs and a few survival horror games like RE and Silent Hill.
