So is anyone else playing Borderlands?

If so, PC or console? I've been playing it a bit with some friends and the game is pretty bad ass. The whole cel shaded wasteland thing works for me, and the NPCs are hilarious.

What classes is everyone playing? I decided to give Lilith(Siren) a go, and it's pretty cool.

I've been playing it for a couple of days now and it's a lot of fun. I haven't tried the multiplayer, which is a shame. I have the PC version, I chose the sniper dude.

It's a funny game, I laughed a couple of times during the opening cut scene.

It seems like fun. The guns seem to be something to keep you occupied. I'm getting it x3 I want to choose Lilith/Siren, too.

yeah i've been playing it non stop :-p this game kicks so much ass it's unbelievable, i only play multiplayer though, that's where the fun is, iam playing it on my 360 right now, lvl 43 lillith.

I think people just chose Lilith because she's hot. And realistically so.

Anyway, I chose Mordecai, and I love the game. Right now, I'm level 21 with an extremely varied skill tree. I'm about to revise it to specialize in either the Bloodwing or Snipers. I'm not entirely sure yet. Sniper rifles are awesome, but I love my birdie D:

Oh, I have it on the 360. The game kicks so much ass. The only problem I have with it is that I can never decide between the guns I find. Also, a lot of the upgrades feel very nominal.

Me and some friends are considering getting it after exams. It looks alright, I guess. Not entirely sure about the graphical style.

I wasn't sure at first, but I grew to like it.

In fact, I don't think I wouldn't have gotten the game if it wasn't for the graphical overhaul:

@Sailboat I actually only chose Lilith because the people I bought the game with were already really wanting to play Mordecai, the berserker and the soldier, so I decided I'd go Lilith to keep things varied.

This game's a lot of fun, I love LANing with friends. I also chose Lilith. She turned ♥♥♥♥ing like, radioactive in the intro video and I hadn't researched any of the classes so I didn't know what it was, just that it was tight. So I picked her. Beserker seems boring to me, and I was never too good at snipers. Considering my playstyle I probably should've been a soldier, but I looked up stuff online and started getting more elemental weapons for my Siren.

I agree with the artstyle though. Overall it's great, but there are parts that seem out of place. The vending machines took some getting used too, and that annoying Cortana-esque girl who keeps popping up throughout campaign is SO out of place it's not even funny.

Also, Clap Trap.

I picked Lilith because she's hot. Yes. I admit. Her Phasewalk is awesome, though.

This was actually the reason why I picked Mordecai. I've always been the Tank, and it feels good to try something new.

Yeah, the Guardian Angel is pretty much the only thing I don't like so far.

I didn't think Claptrap was that out of place. Sure, he's annoying, but I think he suit's the game's tone quite well. I wouldn't mind him that much if he had more than two phrases. He's kinda like Toad, except Toad didn't have to tell you that he "lost the beat" every five seconds.

Oh, and he keeps saying that he's "Danson." I have to say, he's doing a very bad Ted Danson imitation. He sounds nothing like him.


EDIT: To those who care, I decided to specialize in Sniper Rifles instead of the Bloodwing. Bypassing shields is so fun.

I like Claptrap, actually, he's annoying sometimes, but I'm getting kind of bored of the game. All quests are "Go here, shoot this/him".

I just left Dahl Headlands and got into New Haven (I think that's the name). It's just.. uh.. pretty boring. I mean it's great getting new guns and stuff, but yeah...

Moving on to Dragon Age Origins.

I can already hear Yahzee saying the words "Fetch Quest" or "Mummorpugger".
