Lots of good news and footage on the new game mode in Left 4 Dead 2. I imagine that Scavenge mode will be a good alternative for those who don't wish to sit through an entire versus game.

Sounds cool. I enjoyed the first one quite a bit; with that said, however, I'm disappointed that Valve is promoting the sequel this early. It's like they're pulling a Mass Effect on us. : (

...but you know what the sequel should have? GIANT ZOMBIE DINOSAURS.

Although L4D reminded me of a Zombie Mod in CSS, I still might check this one out.

I can't wait for Left 4 Dead 2. I only recently got into the first one, and I really like it.

I hate to say it, but I'd even be happy if they just made a whole bunch of add-ons for the first Left 4 Dead.

L4D is nothing like CS:S zombie mod. No barricades, no hiding places, and no ridiculous places to camp and shoot the zombies away from.

I'm interested in playing the L4D2 demo. The official blog said it would be out in time for Halloween, so I'm hoping that means somewhere around the 28th of this month.

I loved the first game immensely, spending way too much of my time with 3 mates just playing over and over during the last Christmas holidays, and this sequel looks to be even more amazing. Ergo, I can't wait.

Shame that the ratings department here in Australia refused it an MA15+ rating, making it illegal to sell it here due to violence. Valve had to submit a censored version (which was passed), but it still sucks. Luckily, Valve appealed the decision, so perhaps the original version will be released here. Fingers crossed.

I believe they said something about releasing an optional patch for the censored version if you really want it. Something you would download off one of their websites, or maybe over Steam.

This may end up being the first game I get for my 360 around the time the game comes out (rather than waiting months to buy it). I also hope this lowers the price of L4D so I can grab it. I'm kinda annoyed it's still 30 bucks (but that's just because I don't want to pay that much when 2 is around the corner).

I was told it might get banned from Australia because of all the gore, i know it is totally not fair. And i'm not 100% on it just telling you what i was told. I will be really upset if it doesnt come out in Australia.

According to an interview the demo is being released on the 27th, so that's right around where you want it to hit.

Pre-ordered it using the four pack deal. Made everything way easier that way. (Saved a lot with it, too.)

Just got L4D when it was $15 on Steam. Played that for a few hours, and it's been good.

I might skip L4D2 and wait for L4D3, it might be here in like half a year or so.
