Most Epic Overworld Music

Yup. See title.

Norther Country Kamui - Okami.

This one was pretty epic IMO. Also IMO, Ryoshima Coast, from the same game, comes in at a pretty close second.

Morrowind Theme.

I'll go with
Little Jack-- Skies of Arcadia
Awesome music, fitting for you exploring unknown skies with an airship.
This game had a lot of appropriate music like that.

For a second one, I gotta go with Golden Sun's overworld.
This is still one of the best overworld themes ever.

I'm sure I could think of different ones, but nothing else came to mind at the moment.

I think I'll have to go for Ryoshima Coast from Okami too, at least the best one I can remember at the moment.

But if Golden Sun didn't use any midis.........

Also I think the Dark World theme in A Link to the Past deserves a mention.

Not that I'm being rude, but this is the better overworld theme from Golden Sun, by far, IMO.

That version isn't as good as the original because they
left out a subtle detail which really makes it for me, but still.

Haha, oh yes. It was great hearing that again when I picked up Diddy Kong Racing DS. The nostalgia comes by the bucket.

There is absolutely no disagreeing with this one. None. If you disagree, then your opinion is null, your consciousness is a waste, and you need to phase out of existence as quickly as possible.

I personally don't like Diddy Kong Racing all that much, but my roommate recently reacquired it; that track brings back memories, despite my lack of fondness for the title.

I loved it back on the N64, better than Mario Kart 64 even. When I found out that you could fly a rocket into space and do even more tracks, it blew my mind. It was like an adventure racing game that reminded me of Ocarina of Time, plus it had boss races, which were amazing.

Also, when I unlocked Drumstick it was a true "wow!" moment as a kid. It was by total accident, back when I didn't have the internet or guides.

I saw it as more of a fusion of Mario Kart and Super Mario 64, right down to collecting items to unlock new areas.

I thought the mutiple vechicles aspect of the game was cool.

Yeah it probably is more like Mario 64. I was just crazy about Ocarina of Time because it was mind blowing to me back then, so it's what I associated it with.

As for an overworld theme, this isn't old, but it's my favourite of the three from the game.
