Half-Life 2 is about as good as gaming gets.

Episode 2 is the best.

Also, Team Fortress 2 sucks dick.

Half Life 2 is outdated now so it's not amazing anymore, it was only amazing because of the overhyped engine. Besides, episode 2 was the only good part of the series which also is never going to be finished.

I'm actually not happy with Valve right now because they still haven't finished the updates for TF2 and Left 4 Dead is now outdated too.

Half-Life 1 is better, and that's extremely outdated.

I can't see why it wouldn't be. I've gotten games that weren't Vista compatible(because they were too old) to run. Just had to install it differently. Though I don't know if that's the case with HL1

I have the Orange Box but I rarely play it. I used to play Left 4 Dead like mad but I don't play it very often anymore. Also, I'm a Valve console fag,

Half-Life 2 can still amaze.

And after playing Team Fortress 2 for so long, it still is the only game I play consistently. That's how good it is.

Left 4 Dead is pretty damn good, too.

Yes, it is.

Half Life 2 is one of the best games I've ever played. It's easily up there with Zelda in my top 10 games list.

I don't see how it's outdated, it's so good. And it has a really eerie feeling.

Loved half-life 1,2. Haven't played ep1-2 though but want to in the near future. Also left4dead is some of the most fun i've had with gaming in a long while.

Episode 1 is definitely the weakest segment in the saga.

I actually haven't played much of the Half-Life games despite owning them. However, they've been great when I've played them.

Personally, I prefer my TF2. I'll just keep playing until the optimization gets so bad that I can't play anymore it somehow stops being fun.

Finally bought L4D a few days ago when it was $15. It's been good so far. The only annoying thing about it is the fact that my ping occasionally finds itself over 100. (Which I guess isn't that bad, but...)

While I've only completed Half-Life 2 up to Nova Prospect, I found the first to be much better. It's the atmosphere.

The game only gets better after that point. And Episode 2 is where it's at.

I personally feel that Portal is the pinnacle of Valve's single player expeditions, but Episode 2 is a close second.

I have yet to play a Valve game I have not liked.

VALVe is better than nintendo.

Sorry, but I <3 Half-Life. Hell that link to the competition between Freeman and Link on the front page, totally voted for Freeman. I ****ing love the revolver in Half-Life 2.
