I voted ODST, even though I don't own it. Why? I love Halo 3's multiplayer whereas the campaign was utter **** outside of a select few moments. ODST's campaign looks pretty fantastic, as does firefight. Plus I don't have to pay for all of the maps from 3.

ODST is my favorite so far because of it's amazing campaign and firefight.... even if there is no matchmaking for it. Besides that it's number 1. Number 3 doesn't even count in my book.

Halo 2 had the best Campaign. But Halo 3's multiplayer is way better. I would have voted ODST, but the multiplayer disc that comes with it, is essentially just Halo 3. The only new things that ODST really brings is firefight, and campaign. I just merge the multiplayer with Halo 3.

They all suck.

In all seriousness though, I don't like Halo. It's overrated.

Halo 3 and ODST.

ODST for Firefight, and Halo 3 for competitive multiplayer.

I like Combat Evolved the best.

I'm a sucker for originals in the series. Health bars too.

Yeah, this. Halo can be fun when I have some friends over, but other than that Team Fortress 2 beats it out in nearly every category for me.

Halo just takes so much skill, and with Forge you can balance maps perfectly.

I can't think of many gaming experiences that beat an intense 1v1 on Guardian.

Great series. The gameplay is fun. But im not a fan. I chose Halo 3 as my fav Halo game, the multi-player was great. Haven't played ODST yet, but planning to do so some time before the holidays.

I've never played any Halo game because I'm supposingly lame like that. However, as far as I know, I reserve the right to vote in an open poll.

The Halo series: One of the best of 3D-action games.

I usually play in Social TS and do reasonably well, at something like 12-15 kills per match.

Earlier today I went into the MLG playlist. Lol. I got raped at the lowest level.

MLG is where the wanna be pros play. I get raped there too

I find Halo 3 multiplayer to be alright, but just simply larger maps while playing Halo 2 multiplayer. In fact I had more fun with Halo 2 multiplayer because it was easier to get into custom matches which were always fun.

Sure 3 brought some cool stuff to the mix like equipment and new or remixed weapons, but it's still just essentially Halo 2.5.

Way more custom game options too. For example, gravity/speed settings, infinate ammo, instant kill, disable weapon pickup, Infection, forge, etc.

ODST is my favorite Halo game.

The campaign is great, firefight is awesome, plus you get the online from Halo 3 with all the maps included.

I was just kind of hoping the Flood was in it.

Yeah but like I mentioned, it's not as easy to get custom games started. I don't know even five people who are regularly on Halo 3 alone. I usually end up inviting random recent players which only works once in a while.

The breaker for me was the Elephant vehicle for Sandtrap. A massive moving base on wheels with turrets for defending? Badass. What it actually turned out to be? A semi large hunk of metal on wheels completely open in the back and utterly useless in all matchmaking. It holds a flag stand and bomb point, but that hardly does anything to change the battle.
