I voted halo 2. One word: Arbiter

I voted Halo 3 because it's the only one I've played.

If ODST counts the Halo 3 online, then that's my vote. Halo 3 online is so much fun.

Halo 2 had the best campaign, I think. But I'm loving what I've played of ODST's solo player.

God, Halo cutscenes are so corney. Especially when the Arbiter starts talking.

The only really great part of Halo 2's campaign were those early city levels. In New Mombasa.

Those are still among the best in the series.

I didn't really think any of the levels particularly stood out, and most of them are unnecessarily large and easy to get lost in. The storyline of the campaign is what really did it for me, and how much grander it was then the first; you start out on Earth repelling the invasion that trying to prevent led to the setting of the first game, and you end up on the Covenant homeworld by the end of the game. It also introduced the entire Convenant societal structure and their fanaticism, and the internal conflict of the Arbiter in relation to this.

On an unrelated note, do ODST and Halo 3 players compete against each other online?

Halo Wars. Simply put, it's more creative.

If they're using the Halo 3 disc that comes with ODST, yeah. Otherwise, it's friends list only for playing Firefight.

I just got ODST Monday! I must say i'm impressed!

I voted Halo 3 because I never used to like the Halo games, but then between my friend and my brother, I was forced into playing the game I now love

He was barely in the games, but Gravemind is still one of the coolest villains ever. Something is just awesome about someone who speaks only in rhyme.

Anyway, I pick Halo 2, it had the best missions imo.
