And he's not much more likely to be playable in the next Smash Bros. (people are seriously already talking about that?) than he was to be in Brawl.

After Lost Age I'm kind of hesitant to get this game. I'm afraid of another Kraden showing up.

Yes that is what I meant. Isaac is more likely now that there is another game coming out.

First of all there is nothing to hint at that at all, new game or no.
Second of all, this is assuming there is going to be a Smash Bros. 4.

I doubt Nintendo will let one of their top money grossing series, just fade away. Weither sakurai makes it or not, I think there would be a new one.

I thought it would be likely becouse he was an AT in brawl, when he hadn't had a game out in 6 years. Now he has a new game coming out, and I figured he had his chances boosted.

GSDS will attract new players thus explanations the game must have.
I don't mind having a NPC like that with us, really, as long as they're no burden to the party.
I'm pretty sure Kraden was more useful than he was a burden.

There should be an option for players who played the original two to skip all that explanation on psynergy.

Are you serious? Most games (even sequels/series like Zelda) have tutorial sections on how to fight. The most you could hope for is a pop-up option to skip cutscenes. Since Golden Sun isn't a household name (like Mario), expect to see explanations for psynergy for newcomers to the series.

Since a password wasn't given to us at the end of tLA, the only thing we could hope for is if info could be transfered from the GBA cartridge on a DS/DSlite (no DSi since there is no GBA Slot). But considering Nintendo wants to plug out their newest model, I don't think that would happen.

Exactly, we don't know. The chances of it being a bonus and not being a bonus are equal at this moment. But since we're talking about a game that has a cult following (and wasn't all that popular to begin with), my money is that it won't have some sort of connection. What would you expect to transfer? The DS game takes place years after TLA (they did say "descendants of Garret, Isaac, and Mia" and not "children of..." meaning the DS game could take decades or even centuries after the GBA titles) so we wouldn't be able to transfer the game characters because they were young in one game and probably old/dead in the DS game. The only thing we could possibly transfer would be items (and maybe Djinn) from the previous games. But you have to admit, that is some very wishful thinking because the series has gone stale for 6 years, and not everybody who's interested in the DS game still has (or has actually played) the first two games. According to wikipedia, GS sold a little over one million games in the US and Japan, while TLA sold 680,000. In today's standards, that's really not that much. And you have to account, how many of those people still have the games (for example, I've played both games multiple times, and I don't own them anymore or a DSLite).

What I would like to see in the game is Wifi connectivity for battles (hey, the GBA titles had cable connection for battles, why not have GSS go online?), maybe some reappearances of old characters/Djinn that could tell you of what's happened between games, and of course some new Djinn & Summons.

Online battles would be cool. However, when I was playing link battles on the first 2 it was getting annoying because are summons would just kill us in one hit. Therefore making the battles quick and easy.

Hopefully, if there is wifi battles, summons won't do the one hit kill thing again.

The way I see it, there should be a set amount of rules (like in Pokemon). For example, you are only allowed to bring in four team members, 20 Djinn, no HP or PP restoring items, battle items (like a limited amount of Sleep Bombs, Oil Drops, etc.. are ok), Stat Boosters are ok, and everybody's level is capped off at 50 or 100.

That is just an example, so nobody kill me.
