Probably, but the Dawn Brigade members suck so bad, I can never get anyone from that group classed up more than once save Micaiah obviously.

Plus, since I'm always so reluctant to battle Ike in that chapter, I'd probably fail no matter who I used.

Well duh, he's a video game character, but he's one of my favorite hero characters. I'd really prefer not to have to battle against him, especially since I like to think he's such a strong fighter that he's unbeatable and can win any battle he fights. xP

Luigi isn't as bad as I was thinking. I was thinking more along the line of books, with vampires :|
I sadly don't remember him much from SPM. I don't remember the bosses at all really.

I found Toroko, once she changes after eating the flowers, to be a pretty hard boss to defeat in Cave Story(Doukutsu). I don't know why. I just had some trouble with that one.

And probably for a similar reason that you found Ike hard. Your own image of the character clouds how a normal person perceives them, making them more competent than they actually are in this case.

Semi-relatedly, I was once able to convince my little brother that Luigi & Mr.L were different people.

Bosses I personally found to be hard:

Ballos from cave story (well pretty much the whole "hell" level in combination with Heavy press and Ballos as bosses)
King Blue and Captain blue on the V-rated difficulty setting in Viewtiful Joe.

That's pretty much it.

Maybe because you didn't want to have to fight her. I know I sure didn't... (I had some strategical trouble with the battle as well.)
Actually I'm stuck on a boss in Doukutsu Monogatari. I don't know its name, but it's that machine thing in the long tunnel.
I'd say it's really quite hard, but it seems to be the only boss that is always hard for me. Others are always changing: sometimes harder, sometimes easier.

Wow. I honestly can't think of one boss that I can list as 'hard'. Except for this one guy in Kingdom Hearts I or II. A guy who plays a gitar that summons water, I still haven't won over him. Only reason he's hard too is because of that stupid timer.

I remember some bosses from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the past that gave me some troubles, though. Like Ganon, and the 7th crystal boss, the stone one.

If we're talking about hardest bosses, then I'll go with the ones I couldn't beat. And that's just one.

The final fight with Mizar in Jet Force Gemini. No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't beat him. Even with walkthroughs.
