Whoever wrote the list is just stereotyping. Because Nevada has Vegas and thus tens of thousands of hookers, they assume that if you're ever canoodling someone, it's because they're a hooker and you're a drunken tourist from New York, or a high school student.

Those might not be real, but there are plenty of acts that most would consider completely sexually normal that are illegal in different places. For example, oral sex was illegal in Louisiana until about ten years ago.

See back in the past (I am not looking up the time) there was a supreme (I think it went there) court case over whether a tomato was a fruit or a vegetable. America (at the time) had an import tax on vegetables, but not fruit. Thus they decided it was a vegetable to get more money. I don't think it has ever been changed but it is scientifically a Fruit.

I would've thought it had something to do with money. And yes, a pipe is worthy for something like that.

what does being baptized have to do with the plague?

Back then, date of birth wasn't recorded, just date of baptism. Only rich people and nobles ecorded the date of their birth. She basically means that if he had been born about a week later, he might have died as baby.

Right on. Or any time where 2 people are afraid to act (or 2 sides) because of what the other will/could do. I don't rightly know the difference between a stand off and a Mexican stand off.
