Frog Innards Found in Pepsi Can

As everyone in Farore knows, I'm a Pepsi fan and all...

But this is too much.

(I say we blame Sam's Club instead! )

Yet another reason to drink Coke instead.

How did that get there? Wow. It's officiall. Never drinking Pepsi again.

This could have been a simple accident, no need to go against Pepsi.

Also, you guys DO know that cereal and such has lots and lots of insect and insect eggs in them? You eat them every time you eat cereal :V

Are you serious? Uh.... don't tell me these things.. Excuse me while I go puke up my breakfast.

I couldn't help myself...I looked that up.
According to the FDA in the US, the following are okay:

- 225 insect parts per 225 grams of pasta
- Rodent hairs in a jar of peanut butter
- Two or more larvae in a can of corn
- Five fly eggs or one maggot per 250 mL in orange juice

Nice...

Of course, that's mostly microscopic animals or animal parts though. Not a dessicated frog or toad with its innards rotting away.

I've always been a Coke girl myself.

The idea of finding something like that sealed in a can is disgusting, though. Maybe I'll just start pouring my cans into glasses before drinking. :|

Trying to filter those out would be basically impossible. The costs would slow down, and maybe even shut down the food industry. Besides, you get much worse from simply biting your fingernails.

True, and they're essentially harmless as well.

It's really the gross-out factor associated with eating insects and their eggs or larvae that gets to people, no matter how commonplace it actually is.

This is why I never drink canned products. At first I never knew if people pissed in it, and now I have to worry about frog guts... Thanks... XD

Not quite the same, but my mother knew someone when she was at school who was eating something without looking at it, and a bee flew on it and bit her mouth or throat or something awful like that.

Good thing I'll almost certainly forget this by the next time I have a can of anything (particularly since I prefer bottles).

When I was in middle school a kid next to me opened his can of Fruitopia and there was a fly floating in it.

I haven't had Fruitopia since, but I never really like Fruitopia in the first place, so I'm ok with it.
