How about Dylan Moran? I do hope I am not the only comedy lover here who has seen Black Books.

Some of my favorites are Tim Hawkins, Ron Pearson, Bob Smiley, Brad Stine, and Ryan Stiles.

I do enjoy Ron White. I really like mostly quiet mono tone comedians, that can keep a straight face the whole time, and be hilarious, or even look depressed.

I'm just surprised you're dissing Jack Black, Will Ferrell, and Robin Williams while liking someone equally lowbrow (Or lowerbrow) like Ron White.

Too bad Mitch Hedberg died.

Will Ferrell just isn't funny to me. His delivery is aweful, and how he tries to hold in a laugh after everything he says is obnoxious.

And Ron White's act is really original, and his act is fresh, "They tried to make me pay for a stool that we broke, over my thigh."


Jack Black was funny for a while, but it's just getting old now, especially with the year one movie, with that other guy that was in Super Bad that I don't find funny at all.

Robin Williams is just plain aweful, and I never liked him from the start, in all his movies, he just over reacts to everything and it gets old.

I'm talking about comedians like "Steven Wright" or "Jake Johanssen".


My humor is very picky, and I don't enjoy childish humor.

He's eccentric, but that isn't necessarily bad. He's more of a matter of taste.

Not really. Ultimately, he isn't much different or much more sophisticated than the other "blue collar" comedians (As I see it, the only one of them that is really anything special is Jeff Foxworthy).

A bad movie every now and then doesn't equate to a bad comedian.

The news floating around his role in the upcoming Brutal Legend, for example, shows that he still has it.

Have you seen his stand-up? His improvisational skills are amazing; he's infinitely more creative than plenty of other comedians.

He's also not a half-bad actor in more serious roles.
