Last night we put on our first production of our school's 4th annual play, this year called "The Saga of the Golden Horseshoe, or That's No Lady, That's My Filly!". Tonight we're putting on an encore presentation. I was so worried on Thursday, our last practice night, because we weren't doing so well, but on Friday we had to do a dress rehearsal in front of the whole school, and we did better than I thought, and last night people said we were great. I had a very small part, but people came up to me and said I was really funny. (I was a fairworker who never had his name mentioned, which is Miller, and in the end I get stuck in a horse costume with one of my other two fellow fair workers.) Tonight I hope we do good.
Has anyone ever put on that play, or another by Pat Cook? It's really fun to do plays, and I can't wait till I get to go to high school and have four more years to do it!

My school has a lot of plays, the problem is they're classes, so Everyone and there uncle wants to take it, so I usually get bumped. (By the way, is it unusual for middle schools to have students choose there classes and drop for them?) My school also has musicals that you have to audition for before getting in, but there musicals, and I sing like a crow, so I can't do that either.
I'm not involved in my school's drama depatrment, but I do pit band when I can.
This year we're not doing a musical, but last year was HMS Pinafore.
Boardwide, though, I did pit band for the Music Man.
The biggest problem at my school is that there is a production for credit course, so only the minority of people involved in the play are really commited to it; people do things like never learning their parts.
Well, I actually have done a play before. I am sure all of you have heard of it: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Us little Elemntary school kids did a play with the High Schoolers. We were those little kids that danced around and stuff. I was in fifth grade then. It was really funny though, because all of the girls there had a crush on both Joseph's (the older one and the younger one). Escpecially the one that took off hi shirt in one of the scenes. Infact, I still have the shirt that I wore for it. It was a yeallow shirt that had the title in big black letters. Everyone in the play signed it.

Only the Advanced Drama course members are allowed to do plays in my school. Drama 1 and Drama 2 get to do regular stage practices in front of the rest of the class, you need to sign up for Advanced Drama to perform in a play. That's perfectly fine by me, considering my problem with nervousness.
