Not always. Here we can get 100mbps easily, not only for the local connection.

Do you notice that huge empty spot on the west side? Yeah, that's America's rural area, and it's massive. I can imagine that setting up internet in those areas would be difficult.

No, you really couldn't. It would require a 91mbps upspeed to upload it in exactly twelve minutes, and that's talking about a x264 compressed 720p video - if we aren't talking compressed, we'd talk about 300+ mbps speeds, which are what universities use for everyone to share... I tend to download stuff around 50kb/s. :L The highest I generally get is around 80-90kb/s. The other day I downloaded a 1.1gb game using one of the game download boosters and it only took 45 minutes or so. It was averaging around 500kb/s. But I never get that normally downloading, it was just a one-time thing. D:
