Yeah, something like that. Basically, the universe gets too big every so often, and just collapses and starts over again, so the theory goes.

For the love of God, stop talking people. You're seriously giving me a headache. Some of your theories are so unbelieveably flawed and just so backasswards it makes me want to cry.

And yes, dark matter and dark energy EXIST within our universe. We've proven it, we've more recently began measuring how much of the universe it composes... last I remember... dark energy was... 73% of the universe? something around that... and dark matter was lower 20 percent... regular energy and matter are a very small percentage. I could get exact stats later on, I just have to ask one of my professors since he helped with the study.
