halloween costumes

i know its not halloween for a couple months, but im pretty bored and im already planning for halloween. some people make costumes, some people buy costumes at walmart, kmart, target, etc., but i'm being kinda creative-ish this year. i saw at target that they had a costume for a swat team member for kids. (here's a link to that costume-http://www.target.com/Aeromax-Jr-S-W...costume&page=1) and i want to be a swat member for halloween. but im not gonna use that crappy little 30 dollar crap. im using the real stuff. i already have a swat sheild. and theres an army store about a block down the street. im getting a $60 tactical vest, a $15 police baton, a $40 real S.W.A.T. helmet (not to mention bulletproof), and black boots which im not sure how much they'll cost. i already have an airsoft pistol which i'll keep in the gun holster on the vest. and im gonna get some random little accesories for the pouches on the vest. (flashlight, knife, mace, taser, walkie talkie, gun clips, etc.) so altogether my halloween costume is gonna be a couple hundred bucks. i could just go with that little $30 costume but my idea would be less gay and more legit. and i already have my west end of town route planned out and now i need to get the east end planned out for trick-or-treat night. (i feel like im in the ghetto sayin about the east and west end) so thats basically my plans for halloween this year. what are you doing for halloween? nobody is going to actually read this far. if yoiu have read this far then you probably dont exist cuz nobody will read this much. since nobody will read to this point i think i will reveal a deep secret since nobody here will read this far. my secret is: i wouldnt actually say a secret on here. just in case ur still reading. if you ACTUALLY read this far then put exactly 7 smileys in your response.

As for halloween, I've recycled the costume I use for opening the door for the last couple of years. First I was Frodo, with a brown tunic type thing, and a staff with ring. Next year, I ditched the staff and ring and shoes, and I was a hobo. Fairly efficient, cause its pretty boring to dress up to answer the door, but I always hated it when people weren't dressed up when I was trick or treating.

alas, I am to old to dress up and go trick or treat, and be taken seriously. But good idea on your costume. Way to go and not be cheap and make a real nice costume.

I've planned ahead mainly because I'm using the costume for next July, too, so I need to think ahead for what I'm going to do. I'm going to be either Nekozawa from the Ouran Host Club anime or Ritsuka from the Loveless anime. And then I'm reusing it for next year's Otakon.

...I feel like such a nerd for saying that.

That's why I love that Hungary doesn't have Halloween. I don't have to stress over about these silly costume things. Also, I used to read the first and last sentence of a long post, what I don't want to read, but I don't want to put smileys, because I'm so mean.

I think I might go as link, I made a costume for Comic Relief earlier this year so I can use that one, I just need to make a new shield.

Note to self - Shield usually aren't that protective when mad out of cardboard, especially with a dog in the house...

Last year I was Peter Pan... I might just do the usual flapper girl this year. A flapper is always my fallback costume since it's so easy for me to throw together.

I'm glad that I don't live there. I need at least 3 candy-getting holidays a year. Halloween and Easter. Christmas and Valentine's Day I don't get as much so they kinda even out as 1.
