mmm well according to the things I've read, I really think it doesn't exist..because, some pics are fake, right ?

besides, don't you think that a group of scientists could have made their research since the technology is so advanced and bla blaaa??

edit: i've just read a bit more about this issue and ... there have been researches and nothing's been found on the loch ...

Re: Loch Ness Monster!

SOLINK IS SO FUNNY Now, who thinks don't exist?

Anyway I don't think Nessie exists, but I still find it fun and exciting to believe that Nessie is there, even if they prove that she doesn't exist.

Re: Loch Ness Monster!

This photo is primarily what the Loch Ness monster legend is based on (along with stories without evidence):

It was taken in 1934 by Robert Kenneth Wilson. However, an analysis in 1994 exposed this photo as a hoax - for one, those ripples that you see surrounding the "neck" do not fit the pattern of large waves, but rather small ripples. Based on this, the object is probably less than a metre long itself. Furthermore, it was even admitted to be a hoax by the man who constructed the object in question - it is a toy submarine with a sculpted head.

Finally, in 2003 an investigation funded by the BBC, involving 600 sonar beams and satellite tracking, was undertaken. Surprise surprise - no large living creature was found in the lake.

ALright, first, there are other pictures (Although many are probably fake). There are tons, look them up:

Ringo: The Loch Ness is what I like to call a Big Damn Lake. It is 29 miles in diamater. The human eye, with no assistance, can see 2 miles. It is possible that Nessie can sense people or knows they are generally near the shore and so rarely surfaces there. It may also tend to avoid boats because the motors are loud.

Incredibly fake.

Could be anything. Looks too lumpy to be a plesiosaur, at any rate.

Floating tree trunk. This particular photo was taken by Frank Searle, who was well known for his Loch Ness monster hoax photos.

Looks very fake to me.

Doctored photo

And also, how do you explain the fact that an extensive search of the lake with 600 individual sonar beams picked up no animals larger than a buoy?

Re: Loch Ness Monster!

It doesn't exist because the lake doesn't have anything to sustain it.

I mean, what could it eat? If it ate plants, then it would probably have to lift its head up out of the water, into a bush or a tree branch and snack on it. Nobody has witnessed this.

If it were a meat eater, the largest thing it would have possibly eaten are otters, yet there are no documents of otters and other critters vanishing in the lake. Plus, food would be scarce, so once the poor widdle otters go bye-bye, Nessie would starve to death.

They want through the whole lake and found nothing.

Often logs were believed to be Nessie.

It sounds bogus to me.

I don't really believe in Nessie. I don't think she exists. I shall be proven wrong if they actually find her someday.

That's basically my opinion too. It's probably a dinosaur of some kind. Also, thanks for the link to the site, I'll check it out later.

Re: Loch Ness Monster!

That kind of a creature just can't live in a lake that small without it's excistence being confirmed already.

To clarify my last post, just in case, I believe people believe that they have seen it.
