Does anyone else here in ZU like brentalfloss' videos? I think they are hilarious. If you haven't heard of him, look up his name on youtube and find some of his videos. He makes comedic lyrics for popular video game tunes.

So last Wednesday, November 11, my sorority, Sigma Alpha Iota, had a concert. We are the Sigma Chi chapter, at University of Miami. I performed two songs at this concert: an original song with my band, and a piano/vocal version of Sally's Song from the Nightmare Before Christmas.

many good things all around.

perhaps a good direction for you to start exploring would be to experiment with less pedaling on the piano and more dynamic shape in the phrases. When you learn to control the phrasing without the pedal always being down, you will perhaps find it easier to ad more nuance to important moments in the music.

Don't be afraid of not using the pedal!

The over-all style I thoroughly enjoyed. :3
