Live forever or die at 65?

I'm sure I'd eventually go crazy living forever. And then living forever, being crazy would be horrible. I get bored if i'm not doing anything for like 20 seconds. Being bored's not fun, especially if its forever... forever... forever...

I honestly don't know what I would choose.

On the one hand, if I were an unstoppable, immortal being, it may be fun to go about a never-ending life and surf time forever. And someday discover what came before the big bang and whether or not there are other membranes of parallel universes.
But at the same time, those that I love, and everyone I develop new relationships with would eventually die. Would I become desensitized after all the deaths and eventually learn to not feel? Or would I forever be in pain of loss? Or would I instead decide to not get close to anyone, and live only with those other immortals? Hmm, I don't know.
I don't know if I like the idea of having no way out as well.

If I chose to die at 65 then I would just live what I know. Seems easier. Plus I might be frustrated never being able to experience dying. I want to see what happens.

But then again, I suppose if there are others who would be immortal with me (so I wouldn't be alone), then I may just choose that choice... How could one pass up an offer like that anyway?

By living forever, would I retain this appearance or become an old man with all the health problems of one, I'd just live through 'em?

you would keep your appearence now. hmm.. this brings up something else. would you want to live forever if you had to stay the age you are now?

i still say forever though, but i would just wait until i was like 22-25 to do so.

Is this some kind of trick question? You'd have to be insane to not want to live forever. Nearly every concentrated human development in civilisation or science has been geared towards that ultimate goal of immortality.

I would live forever and get a new family every 100 years or something

I want immortality, but I also want to be able to end it at any time I want.

I also disagree. You'd go insane living forever. I'm sane enough to realise I'd like to stay sane.

But they don't have their own lifespans. As long as I'm alive they'll keep growing. Unless I'm misunderstanding you.

I'd rather die at sixty five. Living forever would get boring.

Do you honestly think I want to live in this hellhole we call earth forever?
