One Year, and...

Wooh! I made it a full year here at ZU. I must say it's been rough. I have had good times. Bad times, and some that I wouldn't like to talk about. But all togethor I think its been great here at ZU. I knwo some of you don't like me or think I'm annoying as hell. But I won't name names or any of that. This thread isn't intended to point that out. It's intended to tell the story of my full year here at ZU!

Well at the beginning my life here at ZU was pretty stupid and full of spam. I was like most newbs or noobs and didn't read the rules at the beginning. All I cared about was my post count...

After a while I become more in-touch with some members read the rules. Followed them. I actually tried to help out at the forums, like the first ZU click-a-thon. Then I found out that you had to refresh the page after each click.... >_> I lost like 3rd of my count. But all in all it was still fun!

Then it came, V-bulletin. Like that. I dunno, it almost made not wanna post. At the beginning it was like another forums. Not the same as the ones I "grew up" on as to sort of speak. It lost it's shimmer. <_< >_> But that ended quickly. Then I questioned about staying after a while. I lost the interest to post. It happened right around 900 post. I remember that Mercutio had around 400 post. He passed me in no time.

I even left one time. But like always said "THEY ALWAYS COME BACK!" Pretty true, actually. The only way you could actually stop from just coming to the forums and not even posting is to strand me on an island with no technology.

But over this past year I've had a great time made new friends, lost some. I think I couldn't have asked for a better forum to have stumbled upon. I'd like to thank Anakin- and the mods for making the forums possible and so spam free.

Before I wrap up this post I'd like to thank some ordinary members who are just plain great.

Windwaker, the first person I ever really talked to. He is the best I have on the forum. He is totally gullible which makes all our conversations more interesting. I just wish he would get on more.

andi, she is a great person to talk to. She is always nice to me. Even when she had to do something she was still there.

Gunuong7, He is hilarious. And I couldn't go a day with having an extremely weird conversation about exploding whales or strange pedophillic stories or even snorting coke of a mirror.

Ryoko, she is totally awesome. She is always up to talk, and it's easy to laugh with her. She is just totally cool, I wish I had more friends like her.

OKO, he someone that I like to talk to. I like giving him good adivce in Photoshop and helping him out and giving him critique on his sigs.

Then some honorable mentions.

I don't know if even I will last a full year here, that is a long time for me to be on a forum, congrats man, great job on... being able to stay here for a whole year .

congrats... i wonder how long ive been here... hmm... maybe i should check that sometime er... anyways congrats again i didn't last as much as id liked just not enough stuff to do round here but i still pop in and out btw check out my sig shop lol jk you don have to ^_^ alrighty well have fun for many other years and yes i knowsometimes it looks sucky in here but heck YOU'LL BE BACK if you leave that is... lol

Congrats on the one year Gecko. Nice to see that there are members still sticking around here for so long. Not very many stay here very long any more(too many three and four letter words in that sentance O_o).

Hopefully you stick around for another year, it won't be too long, they go by really fast.
