The Ideal Age

If you had an age at which you could freeze yourself, living the rest of your life as though you were still physically that age, what would it be?

Ie. would you rather be 16 forever, or 30?

I think my own ideal age would be about 24.

Well, i would say 16 (now), but i havn't had the chance to be 20 yet, which might be better, so i'm not sure. Out of any age from 0-16, i would pick 16 though.

Six years old. I miss being the rude, arrogant, hyperactive brat who broke things for fun...like dishes... :/

I also miss screaming and saying ''why'' all the time. I remember I used to steal sweets from shops and switch the lights on and off.

If I behaved like that now, I would be thrown into a mental asylum.

Is this only physically staying the same? Or is mentally included?

Fifteen or sixteen, easily. Well, maybe seventeen and eighteen too, but...

I personally think being an adult/teenager is boring. You have a lot of things to worry about. Being a kid is fun. Nothing to think about. =)

25. Since your body starts deteriorating after that. Besides you're adult enough to be taken seriously and young enough to joke around.

17. I dunno. It seems like a nice age. Not to old not to young.

On one hand, I'd say 21. I'd be of legal age to do anything I want, since I'd be considered an adult. Old enough to drive around, and have a full time job if I managed to get one. Old enough to be independant and have my own money.

On the other hand, I'd say 8. I was in fifth grade when I was eight, which was the last year that I was in grade school. After that I went to middle school. Fifth grade was also the year that I got to go on field trips. Acedemically speaking, I didn't learn as much as I could have. But I had fun. I had several friends, I got to play on the playground at recess, and had few responsibilities. I wouldn't be able to drive, but there wouldn't be much need when I had a bike in a small town.

Those are my choices. Though if by staying the same age I would just relive a certain year over and over, I might choose a different year in my adult life. Somewhere a few years down the line from 21.

Old enough to have accumulated wisdom and be rid of the naivete of youth, and to be taken seriously in the world. Yet also young enough to still be fully energetic (not yet bogged down by the rigors of old age) and retain my rugged good looks. I would have just enough gray hairs to look distinguished and sophisticated.

Also, 42 is the only obvious answer to this question since it is the answer to everything.

Actually, that's not a bad answer. Even when someone is in their twenties, many older people will still call them kids. You could still be in excellent shape at 42, and definitely old enough that no one will look down on you for your age. At least, not the odler people. But if you're in really good shape, you can put younger people in their place if they call you old.

24 or anywhere in the mid-twenties sounds about right to me, although I wouldn't mind being anywhere from the 30s-40s either.

I would say a child due to how awesome childhood is, but I do treasure some of the knowledge and skills I've accumulated.

A question came to my mind when I was twenty that I hadn't thought about until that year. After you turn twenty, you aren't a teenager anymore, since you're out of your teens. But you aren't legally an adult yet because you aren't twenty one. So what are you? My sister said limbo.

Early 20s.

18. Consider as an adult (at least in Hungary), but young enough to have as much fun as you want. ^^
Or a very young age, for example, 6. Everybody says I'll be a child forever, so to me that'd be the ideal age.
