The Ideal Age

I'd say about 18-20. :/

I'd go with something in the range of 10-12. Although people of that age still definitely think like kids, they are completely capable of learning and understanding most everything, if taught it.

As for why... I would definitely like to stay as a kid, but I value my ability to think and reason...and much younger than that, kids are rather more...willy-nilly in that respect.

I want to be 7 again. Simplicity and innocence is way better than anything. You don't feel restricted in any way - its the greatest freedom.

I think 23 to 26 would be nice.

Hmmm. I'd say 16-17, so you can't be thrown in jail. Plus you're still young, limber, and healthy.

18-22 would be pretty cool.

Physically, mentally, and emotionally?

I'd stop aging right now. I'm young enough that I don't feel old, but I'm old enough that life is stable and comfortable.

So how old is that in years?

For me, I'd be in my twenties. Old enough to be an adult, but young enough to enjoy life to its fullest.

I think I would choose 29. It's still young enough to be able to say, "I'm in my twenties", but old enough to not be so immature. I'm not saying I'd be wise, but I'd be wiser than if I were 19.

I thought the thread title meant the Ideal Age to lose your virginity.

I'd say what I'm looking forward to is college and the bit after it, where your career is taking shape. After that, things get boring, and you get old. :/

I've been past 22 for 6 and a half years now (I'm 28, will be 29 in November), and I'm just fine. Heck, the time that I was 25 was one of the best years of my life!

You'd also be "pushing 30" for the rest of your life.

As far as my half-brother is concerned, my step-mother has been 21 for the past 6 years. (Well. 4 years. He's only known what years are for a bit more than half his life.)

As for me, I'd either say pre-teen, for the reasons Scott said, or 19-20 for the adult-based freedom. It's nice living in a country where the legal age is 18.

24 right now and I already have to worry about my job, or lack thereof because of the recession. Don't tell me that's exciting for you.

23. You're not a child anymore, and you have enough adult experience to make it places in the world. Best time to be, ever.

Well, I guess it's less of a worry when you do find a job.

It just sucks that we're in a recession right now. (A decade ago, the economy was booming, and things were much easier.)

thirty-something. I'd have a committed relationship, I would be taken seriously, I would still be young enough to have a fair amount of energy, and i could have a well paying job. I'd have the good life

Yes, but your wife/husband would only be your age or around your age for a little while, then grow older(like everyone else) and die. Unless of course the rules apply to everyone.
