Would you want a boy or girl?

I wanted a boy, because I thought if I had a boy, I could have a little version of my husband running around. (:

However, I got a girl, and she is just the most adorable little princess! <3

Me personally, I would love to have a daughter because I could relate to her, but at the same time I would love to have a boy. Just trying different things would be cool, but I would rather have a daughter.
But if I don't get what I want, all that I want is a healthy baby. Thats what my parents wanted.

On a more serious note, I'd rather get a girl, they tend to be a bit less, errr, hyper, I guess? On the whole, anyway, there's always exceptions...

Also, parents don't have to pay for college. College happens after age eighteen.

I'd so much rather raise a boy than a girl, but if I was blessed with a girl then I'd probably be just as happy for it to happen. At this moment however, it seems impossible that I would be able to deal with a pink-fluffy girl just because of my personality. But given a few years that probably will go away. Also it's hillarious to watch little boys do things themselves in attempt to go from little boy to big boy.

True... But there's nothing worse than a girl under the age of 17 or 18. My youngest sister is 12 and every single day I want to hang her from the ceiling fan. In a loving way, of course.

Haha, I don't know what you are arguing about =P I never said females can't break things and bones. I also never said females don't decide to go to pricey colleges. I meant, you get what you get when it comes to having children. The cost of a child follows no gender rules.
I was trying to point out that everyone is different. Boys aren't ALWAYS one way, and neither are girls.
Also, I didn't mean to make it sound like all parents pay for their kid's college(mine don't pay for my college), but some do.
I just don't like how some people always make generalizations. Not ALL girls are prissy and pricey. Not ALL boys are easy and cheap(or at least cheaper) to have.

Boys are obnoxious.

If having a kid was on the cards for me, i would have to have a boy. Mainly because they are cheaper to run, i would fully understand what is going through their mind and what problems they encounter.

You know, just today in my RE class we were having a discussion about raising children and how to keep them living a happy life. I plan to have a family. I'd prefer to ahve a daughter, but apparently the chances of that happening aren't great. My mum shoudl know. She grew up with 3 (or was it 2?) broters, and no sisters. She gave birth to 4 children (Myself and my brothers, my big brother), and woulda given birth to another (My unborn (big?) brother, Zach/Zack. No daughters. I think it'd be nice to have a dughter. Too many males in the family.I wouldn't mind a boy, but i'd prefer a daughter.
