How do you honestly feel about tanning?

Is it good? Is it bad? Is it a turn on/off?
Does it disgust you when they obsess over the tanning?

I don't like people who look like carrots.

But a bit of colour can look nice :)

I don't like it.

It probably has something to do with the fact I don't tan. ;-;

I hate when people look like a roast chicken that just came out of the oven, which that'll just turn me away then. I love when you have a slight golden tan or barely a bikini tan to add some color since the winter is normally harsh.

When they obsess about it its annoying, and when its a fake one it sucks. But its alright, girls look great when they are tanned and are tanning. Guys no, just no.

A little bit of tan is perfect. Not too much.

A tanned look is fine, but tanning beds and obsessing are not.

It doesn't bother me if people tan, but too much tan can be a turn off. Some people look stupid.

I hold a tan all through winter (which is funny living in Oregon) but I never bother to tan.
A tan is something that either way doesn't bug me. You can go too dark and it looks unnatural, or get a fake one and look orange. But the people who go to tanning beds once a week etc have some problems.

Spongebob gave me tanophobia.

And tan lines are gross on women.

Tanning is kinda gross. It causes skin cancer anyway. I really abhor it to be honest.

I don't tan on purpose anymore.
I went to my friend's graduation last weekend, forgot to put sunscreen on, so now I'm tan after being burnt. Oops. Oh well.
I used to tan every summer, because I was always taught that tanned is more attractive than white. I was especially pushed into it when all of my friends were like, "Oh my god I'm so white", in a negative way.
But now I try not to tan. My dad got skin cancer because he tanned every summer. So, no thank you.
Besides, I've decided my shade of white is just fine ^^

Tanning also ages your skin like crazy. Bad, bad, bad.

I don't mind tanning, though I tend to stereotype based on it, e.g. I sometimes assume that a girl is self-absorbed if I see her and really have to look if I want to know what race she is.

By the same token, I don't try to tan, it's just a side effect of my line of work.

All the girls I see with a thick tan in the winter (nobody in Oregon has a heavy tan in the winter naturally) are all self absorbed and stuck up. They worry only about looks and have no personality. Which makes it easier to figure out if a girl would fit me well by how dark her tan is in the winter All my tan comes from running in the summer with my shirt off and spending as much time outside in the sun as I can.

Only worth it at the beach. Otherwise, I don't practice sun tanning at the pool or anything. May just be a side effect due to outdoor activities and such.

I love leather!

Some people can tan, and some can't. But I've never met a girl who artificially tans who has been attractive to me.
