Wow im pretty envious. My dad while awesome as stated above dumped the care of my little brother on me in the states, since he's busy with his life and stuff in the UK. Plus I rarely ever get to go see him.

My dad's a railway engineer. At present, he's idling in Spain under the pretense of being on some sort of contract, although his sunburn does very little to convince me that he's not taking siestas and drinking cerveza all day rather than repairing locomotives like he's supposed to be.

My dad is unemployed and has been unemployed almost as much as employed in recent years. He's worked mostly blue collar jobs- maintenance on blow-mold machines for various companies, he's worked as a manager for a rental car company, wired machine cabinets, etc...
He's never had a career. Never went to college.

My dad is the head system technician for the Worthing section of the HM datacentres (that's where a lot of the UK Government websites are hosted).

Well my dad works for Continental and hes pretty awsome chef ( when we move back to germany we might open restaurant)
he might get laid off because the company is for car parts (we all know the ****ing car economy that is a bunch of ****ed up ****)
